“We were really pleased with the level of communication from Halifax and ease. However, our renewal price was not competitive at all even after speaking to them and then offering us a discount it was still almost double what we could get elsewhere with the same excess and listed items.”

“I searched on confused.com for house insurance and saved over £347 compared to my old insurance. When I proceeded with the offer the Halifax couldn’t offer me a cheaper quote but the reference number I gave them from confused site helped me save a huge amount of money. Would definitely recommend everyone to you use this site. Also I received a £20 petrol voucher.”

“I needed a more economical quote as my own premium was going to be increased drastically despite not claiming so I shopped around. The Halifax offered a much better deal so I opted for their policy. I have yet to begin the policy but so far organising it and navigating their different levels of cover on the website was very easy and hassle-free.”

“I took out a personal policy just a day before my Iphone was stolen - knowing that this isn’t a good look I accepted that there would be a lot of information gathering. It took a few weeks of them requesting a range of documents and evidence but it was eventually settled. Once it was settled I was able to get my replacement phone the next day. I have nothing bad to say about the staff who I dealt with and I am so thankful I went with Halifax in the end. Only a loss of one star as they did on occasion request the same documents multiple times.”

“Had to call Halifax because I discovered a slow leak in my bathroom I explained looking at the damage the leak has been ongoing. The company then stated due to my description of the leak it started before I was insured by them and to contact my last insurers who also wasn’t interested I have today received a quote from a bathroom company to fix the issue at a cost of £8k”

“I consider your renewal premium too expensive. When I rang to cancel you reduced the premium but when I still wasn't happy you didn't put me under any pressure to continue with Halifax. A nice surprise.”
