“Excellent value for a safe driver. My renewal more than halved after the first year because my driving score was good. Would recommend to new drivers just be prepared to wait for your call to answered, they seem really busy.”

Hi Roget,Thank you for leaving this review. Your score in the 2nd year goes towards your potential renewal price or whether we would indeed insure you further. In the 1st years insurance as I'm sure you know if your score drops below 40 we go through a potential cancellation process. This isn't the case in your 2nd year.~ Jamie

“Absolutely no feedback. No explanation of what influences your score. One occasion of driving out of hours depreciates your score for ever ( and that one occasion was split into two over midnight)”

Hi there,I'm sorry to see you are not happy with the transparency of the scores. We do have a dedicated team that would be more than happy to explain how the box works and give you hints and tips to improve your score. You can call them on 0800 048 2955. In regards to your time of day score, you can improve this by counterbalancing your day time driving to your nigh time driving. I do appreciate how frustrating this must be at times. ~ Jamie

“my work involves me starting at 4am im 55 and a hgv driver surely they should make some exceptions to the starting time policy as i was punished for the whole year for the time i started work which lowered my score”

We are transparent on our website and this time of day score is aimed more for our younger drivers, to protect their safety. In all as long as your other scores are high your time of day score shouldn't affect your overall score.
