“My small four door car is not 'young' - neither am I! - and the damage was malicious scratching, requiring complete re-spray of nearside front wing, rear panel and both doors. To keep my off-road time short - small automatics are not easy to hire! - they agreed I could use a local body shop, keeping the time I was without a vehicle to an absolute minimum. The assessor was there very quickly, the quote agreed on the spot and I was mobile again after just the few days it took for the paint to dry! It was excellent service and I would definitely recommend Pink.”

“If i could give 0 stars i would. Terrible service over the 1 year i was with them. Rude staff and very difficult to deal with. Communication was poor. A number of occasions they would want to discuss details with me but would be very limited on the issues they wanted to discuss. I have been driving a number of years and been with various insurers and by far insure pink are the worst. Will avoid any company to do with Hastings direct!!!”

“Appalling service. Spent hours on the phone unnecessarily. Admin fee charged when shouldn't have been and they refused to cancel it. Information had to be sent twice. tried to cancel the policy but would have cost a lot of money. Will not ensure with Hasting Direct again.”

“I’ve called them three days in a row they up nearly 1hour to answer! After I got someone to answer he promised he will call back within one hour, it’s been 3hours and nothing. I’m on the phone now been waiting 50mins and still no answer. Customer service is rubbish.”

“Extortionate quote when renewing my car, so tried cancelling, and boy are they hard to contact. Ended up just cancelling my DD at the bank. DISGUSTING SERVICE. If you are reading these reviews prior to buying insurance, do yourself a favour and read the feedback......it's all real!!”

“Appalled by their service, consistently unable to get through on phone after several days trying. Couldn't send message online either. Letter told me they would automatically renew, but gave no possibility of cancelling!! I've tried by post, but little confidence that they will take any notice.”

“Nightmare trying to get through to them when I had my accident. I doubt if they investigated properly and even though they paid for my Write-off, my premiums almost doubled with my new car. I'm trying to cancel now as I'm getting rid of my car, their website is awful and keeps crashing! I think Watchdog should investigate this lot.”

“They NEVER answer the phone and, if you stay on hold long enough! They put you on MUTE until you hang up! The SECOND time this happened to me, I had already been on hold for 45mins. I held the line until it was briefly unmuted before they IMMIDIATLY HUNG UP. This is a painfully REOCCURRING characteristic of this company, NO MATTER THE TIME OF THE DAY. I BEGRUGE giving them a single star in this recommendation. Unfortunately, no option for zero”
