“Good customer service, however the price was jacked up the following year. Cancelled policy and re-bought through go compare again to get a fair price again. Seemed a right time wasting exercise.”

“Actually very good is a gross understatement it is more than excellent. I have home insurance through John Lewis and I cannot believe how easy the claim went through I damaged a watch and I called yesterday morning to see if it was even covered Not only was it covered I got a phone call the same day saying they were paying amount into my bank I would recommend anyone to use John Lewis Everything handled so professionally . Sometimes Insurance companies go on about small things that are required but they were fantastic Hellen Sfeir Edinburgh”

“Provide a great first quote but the renewal leaps in price so I cancel the renewal and simply take out a new policy. It seems really stupid. Also, they would not insure my new puppy as it was not a recognised breed, a Schnoodle, schnauzer/poodle. Don't now if I will buy from them again”

“When I renewed my policy last November I found John Lewis to be the most competetive and the most helpful. It was very easy and very quick to sort out and I was not on the phone for hours with endless questions. To date I have not had to make a claim so I cannot speak of that experience, I just hope that if in the future I am unfortunate enough to make some sort of claim it is not difficult and the usual thing of the company wanting your business but never wanting to pay up when needed!!!”

“Dreadful customer service. I had emergency home cover and they tried to tell me they couldn't find a plumber. Have spent nearly a week being given the run around after trying to complain Don't touch John Lewis insurance with a barge pole”

“I was involved in an accident which was not my fault. John Lewis was extremely professional,organised the repair and a Courtesy Car. There were no problems, the repairers were local and kept me informed and, had I needed it, there was a firm organised to reclaim any expenses and deal with any injuries . Fortunately I did not need them as all was well.”

“I unfortunarely had 3 large ash trees fall across by garden fence,blocking a public right of way.the policy was only about 3 months old but I had immediate settlement of the cost of removing said trees .very pleased with the service.”
