I bought a new bike, Carole Nash would not swap new for old on my existing policy, so told me over the phone the best way was to cancel the existing policy and then once the claim was formally closed I would be refunded the remaining 4 months of the policy.

They didn’t cancel my policy and took more money from my account! Thankfully, I managed to speak to a member of staff who seemed to know what he was doing, and I’m now awaiting a refund.

Paid £145 for car insurance policy - 13th Feb 2023- Due to mechancial failure car was scrapped. Cancelled insurance policy yesterday - have been charged a £50 cancellation fee from Carole Nash and £32 plus IPTax from Covea Insurance plc . They add a cancellation fee to the insurance policy cancellation fee? MY TOTAL REFUND for the car policy which was held for 1 month is £9.16!! I think this is extortion !!

I have been trying to get a refund after a claim where I had my NCD removed till the claim was settled now 2 years later I still have not had the refund for the overpayment of premiums ! As always quick to take money but don’t want to give it back

Trying to charge me £25 for a policy that's not even started yet, even though the policy document says, "If you cancel the contract before the insurance has started you will receive a full refund.

Do not under any circumstances even consider insuring anything with these Stetson wearing cowboys,transferred from Bennett’s as I needed multi bike modern and classic for 4 bikes,received my documents and found I’d been charged £61 for breakdown cover,rang for a refund and was told it’s included,however under ADDITIONAL COVER section £61.

This is now a terrible company to deal with, 12 months of negative reviews says it all, what happened to this great Insurance Broker? You only know how good a broker is when it comes to making a claim, amending your policy, change of bike, renewal or cancelling a policy and Carole Nash are probably the worst brokers out there, I have been riding for over 45 years with 11 years NCB, recently just 6 weeks into my policy I changed my bike, nothing sporty, nothing of huge value and yet they wanted over double the yearly cost just to change a few details, I requested to cancel and they offered me £21 refund for a policy less than 2 months old, I contacted them and informed them of my disgust and they just were not interested, they said they would up the refund to £32 if I took out another policy with them online, I got a quote which was almost 3 times more than on the comparison site and that was with the same insurance company.

Like so many of the other comments, I cancelled my CN insurance, I had six months left, I was initially told that I would get a 20% refund! As I had paid my insurance in one go.

I've told them if they don't remedy the situation within 14 days, I'll cancel and sue for a full refund.
