Absolutely avoid Ladybird Insurance. Unless you want to be treated like you are only worth the money and not as a valid customer or even human. I have been with them for over a year shoddy customer service most times. However now they have refused to allow me to transfer my insurance to another much less valued vehicle temporarily whilst my BMW 3 series that I pay very high insurance for is mended. The person I spoke to could not provide me with a reason nor would he allow me to speak to anybody else to take my complaint further he refused my right to complain. I have never missed a payment my premium is being paid on a vehicle which is undertaking repairs and I simply wanted to insure my temporary car. Considering it’s two days before Christmas we are in a pandemic short journeys need to be made just in case to buy essentials as well as several pharmacy and doctors appointments for my son and this company refused to help me or provide a reason why they would not. Absolutely disgusting customer service during a horrible year and right before Christmas. Definitely do not put your trust or hard earned money into this company.

Purchased a policy through compare the market but it went downhill from there, there is no contact details other than a phone number on the website, e after you have signed into your accouI I got an email to say i had to phone within 48 hours to validate my policy, easier said than done, spent the next 5 days trying to get through but got no answer until the 6th day when i got passed around 3 different people, when the 3rd agent told me he would also have to transfer me i finally had enough and told him to cancel the policy, it cost me £70 to cancel a policy i had for 5 days even though i couldnt drive as i didnt know if i was covered, a scandelous situation that didn't fill me with confidence if i ever had to make a claim, which is the reason i decided to cancel my policy.

This company in general feels like a scam, it took almost 2 weeks to get through to cancel my policy. They dont reply to emails and if you try and phone them dont expect to get through. No exaggeration when I say the worst company I have ever used in any instance. A lessoned learned here though, i will now always pay the extra for a genuine insurance company not a pretend one that just wants steal your money and provide no customer service. The only time they contacted me was when they wanted to charge me extra. AVOID

I have been on phone for an hour to speak to c.service team. Someone just answer said hello put the phone down. I am gutted I have new vehicle, so I will cancel policy and go with other insurer

Policy wrong on line took days to get through had to pay extra £140 to change details which I had already supplied on line !!!! Then downloaded policy and still bloody wrong with partner missing off policy completely . Emailed and phoned. Continuously no response .... someone please respond to emails I need to know my partner is insured !!’ Wish I had never moved From previous insurance company 😡

Trying to renew my insurance for the past week I’ve waited in the Q for 40 minutes before hanging up and I have been waiting nearly 30 mins as I type. It’s worth paying £100 extra to go with the next best quote with another company. Shocking service

Would like to give them a minus, emailed multiple times for my ncb proof but no response, phoned but still no response, wasted my time on hold many times and now risk losing my new policy!

I am absolutely disappointed, emailed time and again for ncb proof, but still have not sent it, phoned more than once but still have not sent, now I risk having my new policy cancelled and losing my money!

Absolute nightmare trying to contact on a Saturday where opening hours are supposed to be 9am to 4pm - just ridiculous ! No answer, no updates, no queue system - it's totally unacceptable to be on hold for over 1 hour listening to awful loop music

1. Kept sending sms for proof they already had. Harrasing:) 2. They tried to increase premium. 3. You complete the details on line and get prices from comparison sites. Then ladybird call you back and ask for the same details. Prices can change too at the end of that call. 4. Couldn't insure me the following year despite not claiming.

Would give them minus stars if i was able to. Absolutely worlds worst customer service. No one answers phones, night mare to get hold of. When you actually get through they hang up. Worlds worst insurance. Charged me for not supplying docs in time even though i already had supplied them. Awful service, awful company, awful website, awful insurer. DO NOT BOTHER

I was communicating with a lady called Ellie on Autosaint insurance and she was very helpful and explained every detail step by step. Autosaint is lucky to have someone like that in their team!

I’ve been on hold for an hour! All I wanted to do was swap a car over! Being a carer I need my car and my car broke down the other day and I have bought a new one and I’m trying to swap the insurance over and no one can seem to pick up the phone! Very angry

This review has turned from a 1 star review, into a 5 star review, with thanks to Opeyemi Aketepe. Opeyemi listened to my complaint that I was unhappy not to be called back in previous telephone conversations after being promised I would. He took on board everything I said and personally ensured my matter was handled and dealt with swiftly. So thank you to this young gentleman, he is an asset to your company.

I bought the insurance yesterday through a comparison website but rather than confirming the insurance, am email was sent to me that your insurance is not valid until you call us. I tried calling for 3 hours and could not get in touch with anyone. Finally I have spent three to four hours today to get in touch with someone and requested a cancellation of my policy. They have agreed but told me that the refund will take 30 days. Why?? I don't understand. Stay away!
