Got a Question?

My on line app has been recently renewed and while it is now slightly more complicated to use I am happy with it. With one exception, in a banner at the top it refers to me by my Christian name with the prefix Hi. This is a failed attempt at familiarity because nobody uses it. I have with Lloyds for 63 years, so you can tell that I am an old and crinkly. I believe that one is entitled to addressed by one’s title, in my case Mr, or other form, subject to your agreement. A good example is the NHS where they greet you with the request to tell them how you wish to be known. In Lloyds case they tell me that because you register with them with your full name they have authority to use it as they wish. What does other so called customers think. Am I right or am I too picky. Your answers on a toilet roll please. D Morgan.

Unverified Reviewer ...strange because I had submitted my e-contact details as are herewith enclosed, at the bottom of this copied & pasted Review I lamentably purchased some shares from their Branch at Henlow Village, Bedfordshire, albeit, 1990, then valued at £750, But the incompetants, mis-placed them in their vaults and they didn't materialise for 3 years, where upon I was after enumerable enquiries notified about as such. In the meantime, however they had devalued so much, that Anglo Swiss Mining issued a 2 for 1 notice. But those other bungling incompetants also mis-placed them, where upon a decade post purchase thereof, when I had then returned them to Hastings., Vancouver British Columbia, Canada, they had devalued so much as to be renderered all but worthless. If memory serves me correctly, circa 12 Dollars? However, having said that, and what I have since learned, I have more regrets about the environmental impact than monetary loss thereof. But it doesn't detract from the fact that this catalogue of gross incompetance and derelictionof duty of care and responsibility rests with Lloyds Banksters! Needless to say, this was my first and only ever share purchase. Despite that, having been robbed as I was in Latin America, not once but thrice I cannot possibly thank Lloyds (Middlesbrough) Bank (Branch). This because to my consternation, they received the postcare I had then forwarded in 1990, from South America and credited my bank account, £100, which enabled me to not only travel on and /or return, which I may not otherwise have been able to do so. Not only that, but I could only afford to pay £70 upon return and despite offering to refund the difference, upon receiving my student grant, some months later, they generously declined and wrote it off.
