“Had been with lv for car & house insurance for a few years,you’d think they would look after their customers but no,they try to rip you off,car insurance has gone down 16% this year,lv wanted another £40 on top of last years price,£540,go compare site had several well under £400,have paid £373 with a viva zero,would not consider lv for anything else.”

“Reported accidental damage caused by ceiling collapse.Reported on 2nd June 2024.Have had visits from contractors to come and look but no constructive action.Meanwhile both bathroom and shower out of action. Ceiling covered in plastic sheet as the dust will aggravate my COPD.No appointed named person to speak to a difference each time and no progress.I am 73 years of age so personal hygiene is prime.”

“Car insurnace is so bad asked for ID proof, I was on holiday at the time and told them cannot do as away so they cancelled it. I have over 10 years no claims. When I complained was told terms and conditions. Dont use LV.”

“LV were brilliant They listened, they dealt with the accident quickly and the culprits insurance was made to pay quickly. LV sent me a cheque after their preferred garage quoted repair costs and I found a closer garage to do the repair work, whim I know and trust. I cannot praise LV enough.”

“From the moment I called the Claims Department I was given complete support and kept in constant touch with advice on what to do. Claim settled rapidly after my partner was taken ill in Spain and we had to fly home leaving our car and possessions as we had travelled to Spain by ferry.”

“I recently spoke to a lady called Christine who is American lady and lives in Bristol. I cannot say how helpful this lovely lady was in respect of explaining things in my policy. She took her time to go over everything. LV I hope you commend this lady on her expertise and get in touch with her. “Can’t thank this company enough after someone crashed into my car while I was on my holiday got a replacement car next day my car was taken to my home town and I was kept informed the whole time of what was happening unfortunately my car was written off but the customer service I got was fantastic any questions I had answered and not made to feel bad for asking them absolutely brilliant service and staff so professional and helpful”

“Had a minor car accident which was not my fault. Phoned LV first question was is every one ok? which was good cars can be repaired people take longer. Had a phone call after to go through the claim very easy to deal with was informed within a few hours that my car would be repaired FOC was up-graded on the loan vehicle and was kept informed of all progress. Car now back looking as good as new. Many thanks”

“I unfortunately had my car stolen on 1st December 2018. Fortunately I was insured with LV. I received payment today, which considering the time of year was more than acceptable. Their offer was fair and they have exceeded my expectations thoughout. Five stars from me. 👍”
