“I have ordered flowers for a special birthday today now at 18.30 !! have been informed they won't arrive till tomorrow . Totally disgusted will never order from M&S again”

“Tried all evening to get a next day delivery .....but couldnt get any delivery apart from the 4 days over mothers day. I wasnt buying mothers day flowers....but bereavement. Ive used another company now. Tubbish system M and S”

“Go elsewhere - unreliable in terms of delivery and shameful customer service when attempting to clarify where the flowers are. So disappointing. No apology or explanation. Told I could have a refund then refunded someone else’s card. Took so long to get answers on live chat I was unable to order flowers for next day delivery for a birthday. Go to other online retailers for flowers.”

“Just received what should have been a lovely surprise bouquet from my Son. Not sure how much he was ripped off for these but they wouldn't have even made it into the 'reduced' bucket at Tesco. What an absolute disgrace they are when money is tight for everyone!!!! I'm sure Michael Marks and Thomas Spencer would be horrified to have seen these associated with their brand!!!!”

“I ordered the Spring Narcissi Posy for my sisters birthday today. The photo showed beautiful spring flowers and what arrived looked like a bunch of leaves with 2 sad looking tulips. What a waste of money I'll never order for this online site ever again”

“I ordered flowers for a birthday present, selected the delivery date. They had not arrived so I contacted M&S to be asked: Is it okay to deliver them in a week? The reason given was keeping staff safe due to COVID - which wasn't a problem when ordered the day before (I called to make sure that everything was okay). Order cancelled. PLAIN POOR SERVICE AND EXCUSES!”

“Ordered rose bouquet for my sisters 86th birthday didn’t arrive due to damage. This is not a proper flower delivery service and certainly not fit for purpose. The flower delivery is treated like just an ordinary parcel and may be delivered up to 18.00 in the evening. They will be replaced,but two days later. Best to use a proper flower delivery service.”

“I had a bouquet for my birthday from my granddaughter and I’m bitterly disappointed , they looked worse for wear after only three days and the tulips failed to open . My granddaughter sends me flowers for my birthday every year and I will be telling her not to use marks and spencer again and will defiantly not recommend Marks and Spencer flowers .”

“Flowers sent by my friend to cheer me after my Mum died arrived wilted and some dead. They were replaced by flowers in an even worse condition. Advice to others go elsewhere.”

“Ordered the bouquet of the month of February for my daughters birthday. This bouquet did not represent the picture on your web site. Disappointed it was so small for £35.00. The box it was delivered in was badly damaged and some of the flowers were damaged too and had to be disposed of. Will not be recommending this service and will not be purchasing from M&S again unfortunately.”

“Flowers arrived dead, floppy stems petals faded and brown, quality control obviously non existent. Flowers I've had from elsewhere have either had a small bag of water or tissues soaked in water to keep them alive in transit. Difficult to complain as these were given to me as a gift..but I would never make an online purchase for flowers from M & S after this.”

“My husbands sister passed away recently and his work sent him a bouquet from M&S, they arrived in a lovely box only to be dead! Wouldn’t rate the flower card and delivery at all.”

“Flowers sent to me for a special birthday, earlier in the month, by an elderly friend who could ill afford. Didn’t last 2 days! but didn’t have the heart to tell her. Sent January flowers for a special person’s 50th. DPD text’d “delivered safely” Left on doorstep in full view without ringing doorbell though person was home expecting delivery! Husband bought me roses for Valentines yesterday from store yesterday, already dying today despite following instructions. Shame on you M&S, you’ve got too complacent,,,,”
