I had a policy for bike for just under 2 months, after selling the bike I went to cancel the insurance. I was expecting to get some money back for the term unused, however I was told then that I was not due any refund. They charged me a £75 cancellation fee and charged a 50% fee over the full annual policy for the term used, this was stated in the terms and conditions so I do not have any legal right to dispute this but these policies are very unfair and they charge you fees for everything. Please avoid this company there is fees for everything. Admin fees minimum £15 for changing anything, I was quoted £75 admin fee just to alter some of my details. AVOID

I was insured with MCE for 2 years. my bike was stolen and they refused to pay as I didn't report one of my speeding fines which was during the insured period. Company will give any excuse not to pay the claim. Be aware, stay away they may be the cheapest but they will not pay you any claim if they can avoid it

Overall shockingly poor! May offer cheap prices but good forbid you ever have to claim, staff rude, confrontational and lack any degree of professionalism. They are a business that lacks integrity and have some particularly predatory practices. Deliberately collect monthly premiums via unpredictable direct card charges instead of direct debit like every other reasonable business in this day and age so that if you change your card for any number of valid reasons they’ll be unable to take payment for which they can then slap a £30 default charge even if the payment is made mere moments after the initial attempt. Professional money grubbers with a business model and practices reflecting that money first, customer experience last ethos.

I had an incident where I was not to blame. The 3rd party tried to make a claim against me. I did get my claim through someone different (McCams) who claimed on my behalf through the 3rd party's insurance and was settled down. MCE had the chick to take a years ncb away from me. Their reason is that it was a claim against my policy even that I was not to blame. I did not even made the claim!! To get my vehicle changed on my policy, their charged me £70!!!!!! What sort of business is this?!? What customer services is this?!? Money grabbing c***s. It's now my 2nd year with them, and trust me, it is definitely the last one. Their charges are excessively more then what the work of changing few things on their PC costs!!!

BreakDown Numbers all not Working -Stuck at midnight Hi Broke down near the Hyde Park roundabout, the one that connects to Victoria in London. My chains came off my motorcycle and I broke down on that busy roundabout, this happend 00:20 Sunday 29th Aug 2021. An hour after trying every 01933 number on their website and not even hearing the ringing tone, a stranger helped me with their phone and they dialed the number for me 01933 351 361 as advised by the automated voice, since the old breakdown number was no longer in use - for which I didn't get an email, text or letter to notify me. Then we called the new number and we heared the usual options, then silence.....after about two and a half minutes in total, the phone cuts off. I had to find a save spot to park my bike and go home and sleep. This is me now writing after trying the new number again, silence! My bike is stuck and the online chat is not 24/7 so good luck if you're stuck in the middle of nowhere. Thankfully my phone recorded everything and every attempt of a call plus call logs. Breach of contract, I'll sue!

Very rude customer service money scammers they didn’t try to take a payment just text and email that you didn’t pay on time and you have a £30 late payment charge as soon as I got the text I phoned up and paid the same date the payment was due scam artist please don’t wast your time and money . They may be cheaper but you will pay for it in the long run .

High exit fees. Terrible customer service. You'll have to wait for hours to get the information you need. Upon signing up on their website, I purchased motorcycle insurance and nowhere did they ask about a CBT test. Next thing I know, they call me 5 days later. Saying, "Since you don't have a CBT test, and we require that we have to cancel your insurance". Fair enough I said. I didn't realise I have to have that because you don't have it on your website. But you do what you've got to do. So what they did was charge me £97.07. £75 cancellation fee +22.07 for the 5 days my insurance was " active" not only that, I've spent over 3 hours on the phone explaining that it's not fair for them to cancel my insurance because of a misunderstanding on their website and charge me for it. But they said yeah, it is in the terms and conditions, so suck it up.

I wanted a new policy for another vehicle so as I already had 2 policies with them thought it would be easier to insure with them. Not the case you can no longer phone but have to do it online. I will go to somebody you can log in with and do not have to spend so long filling in forms in future.

If I could score them ZERO stars I would!!! Tried to send them my 9+ years NCD evidence and in order for them to apply it to my policy (7 days old I must add) they wanted to charge me another £67!!! I don't think I'll be EVER using them again. Moreover, as a motorcycle instructor, I think I might be adding their names into every conversation I have with students advising them of who NOT to use for their bike insurance!

Cheapest insurance on the market, but they will use any excuse not to validate your claim. Customer service is exceptionally bad and not very helpful.

I received my quote and then went onto a comparison site and got it significantly cheaper.I called and was told to just book it on the comparison site the agent wasn't very helpful . I think you should reward your loyal customers with the best available quotation on renewable.
