Couldn’t get through via phone, tried several times, very time consuming renewing on phone app, considering already existing customer

Insurance was good but the £20 phone call to you was painful especially when you told me you don’t ring back customers on a premium line

Very happy with the price and extras. However the website doesn’t work. You cannot upload documents, it constantly says failed, I gave up at 33 minutes waiting to speak to someone on the phone to rectify the problem of how I add my NCB. In the end I managed to find the live chat window and ask there. Not a great communication experience.

Insurance was cheap but phone call cost me £23, £1 a minute and you have to listen to all the bull.

Bit confused been with mce a few years got quoted a silly amount so decided not to renew so went on well none site got the best price which was mce so went back £400 better than the renewal price ?? Very confused but happy

Payment for my policy was taken twice from my account. This was rectified promptly enough after the inconvenience of a protracted phone call as with all insurance companies phone systems. Overall not to bad an experience.

I am completely happy with my bike insurance but was absolutely disgusted to see I had a £14.71p bill on my phone for calling to arrange it and this was because every time I tried to pay online your site would not let me proceed so I ended up paying because your website was not working properly! Not impressed!!

The only thing I found wrong with this company this year was that after getting a quote on line I wasn't able complete my payment this way. I therefore phoned (the premium line) and went through to the first option to pay for a quote, which they had a problem with and put me through to customer services 30 minutes later when I'd gone through everything again I paid for my husbands insurance. Other than this perfect for what we need.

Cheapest insurance company however the quote went up from the comparison website and then during call the quote rose again because the operator read it incorrectly, after being on hold for 20 mins. However very friendly when I got through.

Price is very good, but excess £950 very high with no choice. Currently awaiting final payout for No Blame accident, told 4 weeks, in third now. Claim process very daunting you only find out when you have to use it. They appeared very sympathetic but once passed onto their solicitors Fletchers kept changing the person i was dealing with.

Had a renewal through for £255 so was happy as was £570 The previous year on calling found this was for third party fire and theft not fully comp which I had before so it’s not a renewal! Rang through to get a cocky arrogant man got it to£460 then while he was working I went on a compare site and got £370 then he said I can do it for £360 so save you £10 so I said cancel the policy and send me my no claims to which he started laughing and said I’m saving you £10. I replied if you had done that in the first place

The Insurance part of MCE is very good....price and extras....but beware talking to them on the phone cost me over £12....once i had been kept hanging on while they went off and checked "things"......Felt ripped off.

You don't send me a renewal, you send me a reminder that it's due, not how much my renewal would be. Easier than going elsewhere. Your phone help line is ridiculously expensive.
