I did my insurance online and at no point on the breakdown part is there a drop down menu to upgrade the useless roadside cover. Yes I broke down,the 20 miles recovery then drop you off is rubbish, let alone £1.50 a mile there after to get you home. Yes you can up grade but it takes a week from when you ring to become active but not on a sunday .Dont break down on a sunday ffs, and unless you live less than 20 miles from where you are its pointless. The call centre dont give a rats arse about your situation.

I am very pleased with my choice of insurance as I have used MCE for my insurance need in the last four or five years and I think I get a good quality insurance at a good price.

I don't have a problem with the large excess on my insurance of £2000. At the end of the day, the insurance was £500 cheaper than the nearest competitor. What I DO have a problem with was the follow up pressure sales call disguised as a "checkup" when really they were trying to find a way to up my monthly payments. I hate these types of calls and as soon as I have the option to, I will be switching insurer immediately.

If asked, by email notification, to ring to renew my policy, I should not be asked upon ringing if I already have a quote. When getting a quote I should not be informed that I can probably get a cheaper quote by not following the notification to ring but to disregard that notification and not ring and go on-line. If I choose to be loyal to a company there should be a loyalty bonus for that loyalty. Not a higher price than for those who are not loyal.

I have ended up with a county court judgement against me because MCE have not settled my case from over a year ago.Third party solicitors have been contacting me and one of the letters mentions bailiffs.This is a disgraceful way to be treated after entering into a contract with MCE.

The staff member I delt with explained the full policy and cover in depth. My cover was fully comprehensive and priced fairly as my no claims bonus had lapsed. The MCE portal was easy accessed and documents easily printed off. Recommend MCE to others considering insurance.

Best price but in the higher bracket for excess notification of renewal does not incorporate price on assumption all has remained the same.Started trying to insure bike 3 days before expiry but told web sight down took 11 days to eventually get there did not match quote from MCE on go compare of £157-83 but £161 odds not bad.Controversy over payment by phone encountered.

Easy to use web site, the quotes given helped me to get a better deal on my current insurance provider as they quoted a lower price than my renewal.

We renewed our insurance on the morning Monday 07/08/2017 and received an 2 e-mails at 15.00 on that day when I went into the portal it was our old documents not our new policy. I rang your office on 08/08/2017 and was told the new documents had not yet been produced and would be with us in the next 48 hrs. By Monday 14/08/2017 I rang again and the gentleman I spoke to said that he would re send them which he did when I then went into the portal there was policy details, letter from you and receipt for the payment but no policy documents so I rang again and spoke to a Lyndsey Shorrock who sorted it all out for us and was the most helpful of all of the staff I spoke to I can not praise her highly enough but feel that it was unacceptable that it took 3 phone calls and a week to get our policy documents.

It was better than last year because they didn't charge me extra for telling them what the security device was on my bike! Not particularly impressed with customer service phone manner though.
