“I think octogan is a very good company and their customer service is very good I always on the few occasions I have spoken with them I was at ease as my quarry was dealt with and have good communication from the team.”
“You kept demanding that I sent you proof of 'no claims' which I tried to do several times and you kept on saying that I hadn't sent them. When you finally accepted what I sent you emailed documents which could not be opened. Eventually when I managed to read them there was hardly anything in them. I am very thankful that I haven't had to make a claim so far because I have no doubt that you would make it IMPOSSIBLE to do!”
“Cancelled the policy because I found it cheaper elsewhere when I tried to cancel they were very difficult and even though I was in my 14 day period they still charged me cancellation fee and admin fee the usual they are not a very caring company nor where they willing to listen to me. I would never buy insurance from Octagon or recommend stay well away.”
“A car bumped mine Dec 2014, wasn't informed about claiming something as an uninsured loss, this information was given to me by the other party insurance, even when I phoned octogan back enquiring they still denied it. Compensation claim still going on with their legal side , no I would not recommend them at all either them or the legal lot. Wont make that mistake ever again.”
“Octagon are awful from start to finish. I purchased my insurance on a Saturday online and the page displayed once I'd entered my details implied that everything had been sorted for me. However, weeks later when I bought a new car and rang up to transfer the policy I was told I hadn't in fact got a policy and that they should've rung me but failed to do so, even admitting their liability to me. Three weeks later I received contact from them again telling me that they hadnt received my documents and "regretted to inform me that they failed to insure me, despite actually having a copy of the necessary documents". After all of this I put in a complaint to their relevant team and was left a voicemail in response simply telling me my complaint had been rejected, no explanation.
I would not recommend and can't wait to change insurers come August time.”
