Doubled my insurance quote from £630 to well over £1200, no difference from last year except another year of no claims. How can you justify that amount of increase. Scum insurance company that I won't use again

Absolute joke of a company. Whilst selling my home I needed to renew my home insurance so went with quoteline direct. After selling I went to cancel my policy expecting some money back, was initially told £120’ish and then they started to add all these bogus fees on top so not only do I not get any money back I actually owe the company close to £100 - what sort of cowboy operation are they running. I Will never use one of these random companies again and will keep to the more popular brands. Absolute joke. And should I let the insurance continue and a claim is made im due to cover 50%. As I said, I won’t ever make the mistake of using a company like this again. Will leave this same review across multiple platforms so people don’t make the same mistake I did.

An appalling company! Do not go near them. The supposed autorenew was not processed correctly by them. We contacted to say the monthly premium had not been taken. They reinstated the premium but a policy they said would cost us £918 per year has now been 'sold' to premium credit and has escalated to over £1100. This is not what was agreed!

Not only did they decline a claim by my elderly aunt, managed by Claims Consortium, they decided to threaten her in writing. " The indemnity position is still under investigation with our underwriters, they reserve the right to take further action". Well done for bullying an 84 yr old.

I get a policy from them and cancelled after 10 min because they do not accept the NCB from car to van but they do not mentioned while you are buying it and whey it is cancelled they charge you with all those fees. Total scam. If it is my fault or I cancel the policy fine but what they do is day time robery.

charged £110 after cancelling car insurance after 7 days. why advertise a 14 the day cool off period, when there going to charge you 1/3 of the policy. can NEVER recommend and will NEVER use again.

They put autorenew on my account despite me opting out which I believe is illegal, on the new quote they were going to take £45 to set it up, I managed to get another quote somewhere else for over £60 cheaper by setting it up myself, take over 30 mins to answer the phone, never again

Awful service - avoid, I got a home policy with them via Confused.com after a few days they called to say the insurance had not been valid as the confused.com questions were ‘incorrect’! I asked to complain re this - but was told no mangers were available or would say anything different. Set up new policy with another company - much better and more helpful. Also made complaint to LV, the underwriters , about using this company to sell their policies.

I've just had a house insurance renewal quote. I thought insurers were supposed to two things to stop ripping people off: 1. show last year's premium, 2. not automatically increase premiums to take advantage of people without a computer. QLR have failed on both. My last year's premium is quoted as "?//". No doubt they will blame this on a systems glitch. The new premium has increased by £21 (from last year's £146) but they've added a brand new, never heard of charge called "Our set up fee" of £45!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will these companies never tire of think of new ways to rip their customers off ? Shocking, underhanded and they should be ashamed, especially at a time when everyone is struggling with the cost of living

Really terrible company, being hounded for payment of a policy that was cancelled twice by letter prior to renewal. Avoid if you have any sense.
