“This refers to CO-OP ECO car insurance. 2022 car insurance £415. 2023 car insurance quote £957. 9 years no claims, no claims made, no points on license etc. Went to go compare, saved £450.”

“"My policy was set to auto renew (I don't recall requesting this but its possible) renewal quote was not sent by I requested it in time to stop the renewal. It was 100% more than the previous year (no claims made and same terms)\r\n\r\nSo I would have had my premium increased from \u00a3330 to \u00a3657. No explanation given and extremely rude customer service. "”

“My house buildings & contents renewal came through today. The premium is increasing from £250 to £337 pa, that’s 35%! How can they possibly justify this? No claims, no change in circumstances. This is nothing but persecution of loyal customers. Needless to say I’ll be shopping around on Monday. I bet if I was a new customer….. maybe a case for involving the Ombudsman.”

“Never again! This company made the contract itself, without my permission. It is not possible to cancel the contract. No option on the website to cancel the contract. Chat is useless. There is no option to communicate via email. I don't have time for hour-long teleconferences over the phone. I do not recommend it!”

“"We insured with the co-op and when the car was damaged by a third party paid a deposit of \u00a3350 when we reported the accident even though our insurance was fully comprehensive. The other party accepted full liability in the middle of August. We have not had our 'deposit' returned as of today, 19th October. The repair was unsatisfactory which we reported in full over the phone and despite promising that this would be fixed we have heard nothing further. The car was in the repair shop for more than two weeks and although a replacement car was included in our cover, none was provided. We will NEVER insure with Co-op insurance again. Although we have requested the refund of our deposit over the phone and in writing we have still not been repaid and have heard nothing from our insurers.\r\n\r\nNB. I have had to review 'food' to submit this review even though it is not applicable!"”

“"My DD failed on 4th September I called next day spoke to a lady who said she would get them to call me back. That didn\u2019t happen. I then got a email to say payment would be taken on 20\/09\/2022 I had enough funds in my account but the payment wasn\u2019t taken. No call back since no email all I wanted to do was pay my insurance talk to someone clear it up. Nothing! Extremely disappointing.\r\nMr Stephen Byrne "”
