“Nightmare of a company. Rude, obnoxious, keep you on the line unnecessarily while they take their time to find out a basic question that a monkey would know! £50 admin fee plus additional fees to add my partner onto my insurance. Total was £110 for 6 months when my insurance for the year is only £280!! Seriously! Please, save yourself a lot of time, frustration and effort by choosing a recognized company. This one offers great deals but as you can see from the reviews, it's the sneaky hidden charges that are the problem and once you're in, you're stuck! As for Wiser Choice, I strenuously recommend your staff undergo further training as they are incompetent. Furthermore, you need to address your charges policy as you are quite clearly ripping off the public. Can't wait to see your company fold.”
“£165 to cancel a £290 policy. Not one of my wiser choices to buy insurance off this company.
These insurance companies are blatantly ripping off customers. This practice of high cancellation fees needs to stop. Wiser could do better investing in giving customers better service and quality . It appears that they invest money on ways to rip the money from your wallet. Brokers shame on you.”
“Stay away from this car insurer! Had to cancel a policy after 6 months and take the car was off road( SORN) ,the charges £144!!...£75! to cancel also a percentage of what I wouldn't be paying in future???!%!;% My yearly cost was only £318!! Doesn't make sense......just beware when using "cheap"quotes on go compare sites..and read the policy documents thoroughly before signing up”
“A little slow paying out on a claim, but unlike other insurance companies (from experience) they were more than fair on how much they gave me for my written off older car. I have been driving nearly 20 years now, for sure this is the best company I have used.”
“As usual, you get what you pay for. Turns out that, aside from a cheap headline premium, I paid for a Company that rack up the call charges on an 0844 number and charge an additional £50 admin fee if I want to change my vehicle. Can't comment on what they'd be like if I actually had to claim but I suspect they'd be a nightmare. To call them the Ryanair of the insurance world would be insulting to Ryanair. I've told them I'm not impressed and won't be renewing (politely). They couldn't give a toss.”
