“I responded to a CARP advertisement of Zenith Insurance, called them and specifically told them I was interested in getting quotes from several companies before deciding which I would choose. The quotes they gave me were no better than the company I was already with, so I told them I would not be changing companies. I then received a bill from them! I called and explained that I had NEVER signed an agreement with them but I continue to get threatening letters and the latest bill in excess of $400. Do not go near this company - they're dishonest.”
“Absolutely appalling. Involve far too many people in the process of a non fault claim and don’t keep the customer updated at all. Be prepared to do most of the work yourself as they, Markerstudy et al don’t like to do much. Thankfully the complaints dept usually know how to handle the complaints. They must get a lot!”

“I had my policy cancelled out of the blue for what I was first told lack of documentation.
The documents were actually sent when originally asked for, I did not hear anything once this was carefully explained, so I assumed everything was ok and the staff managed to look at the email properly.
I called to ask why my policy was cancelled on Saturday, half way through the conversation and lots of putting on hold for 15 minutes at a time. The reason my policy was cancelled changed as it must of been noticed I did actually send the required documents.
I was told that I had not updated my address so they cancelled my policy. This was completely made up. I was never asked about this, it was never mentioned by any members of this company. I explained I still had all of the email trails on record with no mention of anyone asking for the correct address.
I’ve checked my account today, instead of the cancellation fee which was being asked for by myself, I’ve actually received a small amount back.
Basically to me they admitted fault.
The issue has not been resolved as I’m not insured to drive.
This company just wants your deposit then will look for any excuse as in anything even making it up to cancel your policy.
Shocking, if you like being robbed here is the company, their experts.”

“If you take my advice avoid Zenith like the plague, go to any other insurance company. I told Zenith someone ran into me but was not making a claim just making them aware of it. I was NOT told at the time by Zenith it was automatically logged as a claim, a long story short, this ONE incident led to me unknowingly driving with no insurance, getting stopped by the police, fined a total of £450 and 6 points on my licence, Zenith ASSUMED I knew this was automatically logged a claim even though I specifically said I was not making a claim. It was AFTER I was stopped by the police and contacted Zenith that I was first informed that this incident was logged as a claim”
“Extremely bad customer service, communication and morals. They don't update their system correctly, they don't communicate with customers, the waiting times to get through are horrendous, worst than most companies.
You pay these people for months...hundreds of pounds and they don't fight your corner, if i could give them a zero star rating i would!!”

I was involved in a accident 3 weeks ago reported it straight away I was not liable. 3 weeks had no contact had a hire car then took it back still now no contact . everytime you call someone tells you a different story. customer service is shocking I pay £65per month and I am in a accident not my fault and they are now telling me to pay £600 as they cant get her insurance brand new car and they basically take your money each month then sit back and do nothing.
