We have staff based in Auckland, Hamilton, Cambridge, Tauranga, New Plymouth, Kapiti Coast, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin.

Here at Geeks on Wheels, we have have spent more than a decade assisting New Zealanders with their IT needs – we take the stress and frustration out of computer repair and malware removal, so you can enjoy your laptop or computer as you are meant to.

Great result with sorting out issues & explaining how they were caused, what was done to fix them & how to manage them in the future. last used Geeks in Nov 2023 - different issues this time.Different technicians but both very competent.

Tom was very very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Took my laptop off site to install a new battery and had it back with 24 hrs

Excellant service given by Angus ... after extensive testing the problem wasn't solved however no faults from the technician as he tried every possible way to connect. After he had gone I was making coffee and the (new) router connected as it should on its own with all lights as normal. Since then I've had no trouble. I believe now it was caused by my ISP turning off something their end,of course they will never pay my bill to cover the callouts incurred

So expensive, with no help added. His solution was new WIFI system. Quoted mt $699, i found online, same thing for $400. Then after 15mins of telling me he cannot do anything, charged me almost $200. Joke, never reccommend, never use again.

We understand your frustration regarding the pricing and that you found the same WIFI system online at a lower price. We do offer some price matching to help narrow the gap between our prices and prices from online suppliers. It appears that you were charged for our minimum 1hour charge with the expectation of returning to set up the network solution for you which would have been included in that initial payment We would like to investigate your experience further as our customer experience is our top priority and your experience greatly differs from our normal customer's experience. Ben visited initially to resolve a Wi FI issue . He was such a pleasant person , professional and knowledgeable . We talked about an upgrade and he subsequently returned to install the deco mesh Wi Fi system . His customer service on both occasions was outstanding , we would welcome Ben back without hesitation.

A most helpful visit. Changed the way we think about our system. Discovered our anti virus protection had just run out so siged up for the Malwhere program and your Geek Plus individual scheme. We will work through you for future maintenance and updates. Thanks David Harrop Strandon

Thanks to Sam my computer is working as it should and I have the Malwarebytes anti-virus sorted. I do still get the notice popping up that my device not recognised. All in all Sam did a good job. Sam was very helpful but I am confused because he said I wasn't covered by Malwarebytes BUT after he had left I did find a debit on my Bank Account for 2Co.Com*Malwarebytes.C.Amsterdam NL on 5 August for $59.99. Geeks on Wheels charged $85.00. Please investigate for me. Maureen Murray

Hi Maureen, Thanks for leaving us a review. It sounds like you may have purchased Malwarebytes directly from Malwarebytes themselves but this wasn't activated on your device. We will get Sam to give you a call to discuss returning the license we supplied and finding out which account your previous purchase is attached to. We don't get to see licenses supplied directly from Malwarebytes so this wouldn't have been noticeable during your appointment unless it had been activated and providing protection.
