James M. was really cool with a neat quiet manner and 'just get on with it' delivery - no fuss - and spoke layman's lingo to me so that I was able to understand what the challenges meant. Jared was timely, friendly but professional in the way most kiwis are, but most importantly he fixed my problem that has been a minor irritant for two months.

I am not young and I appreciate Jack's patience and courtesy in dealing with any problems I may have with my computer. Added to that, he is very prompt and soon fixes the problems. Nola Gardner

Really bad experience today with Geeks on Wheels (Wellington). Having sought advice regarding the performance on a MacBook Air, I was told after about 30 seconds I needed to buy a new laptop. Geeks on Wheels proceeded to ask for the full call out fee, offering no discount. I thought it was reasonable to offer a discount in this situation and that this info could be been ascertained prior to appointment. Poor form!

Hi Rory, we're really sorry to hear that you've had this experience, and we're disappointed that you didn't feel like you received the high-quality service we expect to offer. Although we do have a minimum 1 hour charge which was explained at the time of booking, we have had a look into this further. Unfortunately when we arrived we discovered that your Macbook Air was a 2015 model and therefore is deemed vintage by Apple. As such Apple no longer provide support for it hence our technicians recommendation to upgrade the device. Your technician also did attempt to offer additional assistance with a number of other things while he was there so you could get the full hours worth of time. However, after one of our Supervisors contacted you to discuss the situation further, as an act of good faith, we did offer to refund half an hour. We hope this explains what has occurred, and why, and resolves your frustrations a little.

Geeks on Wheels are fantastic. The service is amazing. They know their “stuff” and this makes it fantastic for someone like me who really doesn’t understand technical, computer things. They’ve saved me 3 times. I highly recommend them.

Ross called on time and got the problem sorted out in a very short period of time. He provided assistance sorting out cabling and setting up a file backup. Highly recommended.

Kyle arrived as planned and once the problem was explained he was right on to it. He was quick, courtesy and really knew how many beans made five. Would be more than happy to have him fix any future problems should they arrive, he is good, very good.

Tim quickly set up the Fibre connection for me. He also was able to correct a fault in my computer that was stopping me from being able to Scan. That saved me from having a buy a new printer.

Vaughan was excellent and as is usual with Geeks on Wheels very professional and helpful. I will contact Geeks on Wheels in the New Year to purchase a computer suitable for my needs.
