Geeks on Wheels are a mobile computer support and repair task force. We travel to your home or office to fix troublesome computers and help solve your computer problems. We have staff based in Auckland, Hamilton, Cambridge, Tauranga, New Plymouth, Kapiti Coast, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin.

Here at Geeks on Wheels, we have have spent more than a decade assisting New Zealanders with their IT needs – we take the stress and frustration out of computer repair and malware removal, so you can enjoy your laptop or computer as you are meant to.

“It took some time to contact your service, but once I gained access to one of your experts, he quickly ascertained that I require a personal visit. The technician ( Ashwin) was patient and quickly determined that a faulty Router was the problem. which replaced it with better quality one. He then changed some passwords for me and left me with a working PC.”

“Vaughn responded to my urgent call, having lost internet connection and needing to have email connection to commuicate with Doctors and Hospitals. He was on to the problem in a flash Best Regards Greg Paul”

“I am really glad I found Geeks on Wheels, I have had wonderful service from them. This time I had Jared, who sorted me out in a calm, caring way. It is hard for an 84 year old to understand some of this modern technology, but he explained things so I could understand.”

“Tom was very patient with someone that didn't have alot of knowledge on computers. He rang to say he would be there at a certain time . I found him to be very respectful and friendly .”

“James was great - easy going and friendly. He did the work needed with efficiency and great competence. He was happy to set up my printer and to sort out the WiFi problems. I am very pleased that James came to do the work here. Thank you again to James!!”

“David was excellent in every way…except that now I am not receiving any emails (thought I am on my phone!) Probably not his fault! Peter”

As you are aware from my phone call and subsequent remote access, the reason for you not receiving your emails was due to you email loosing authentication with Google. This does happen from time to time and by relogging in your gmail back in this was able to remedy the issue. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help with.

“Geeks on Wheels were dealing with a 7 yr-old Apple computer, and an even older iphone and external drive. Vaughan did an approximate 2-hour home visit, foresaw a great loss of data should the computer suddenly die, and installed a new external drive to keep data back up for future transfer to a new computer should that be necessary. His knowledge (and that of my previous Geek Lafi) is absolutely amazing. (NB: My surname in the SUBMIT below is misspelled. Should be FAIERS).”
