Mounting the awning to the home is relatively straight forward but may require some minor prepartory customization when mounting on metal siding. Plan on fabricating wood backing inserts for awning mounting points depending on how your windows are framed by the siding.\r\n\r\nOverall family is very satisfied with the outcome. Product is attractive and reduced air conditioning load substantially from the two west facing windows to the point where the 4-ton AC unit can keep home temperatures at 70 degress during summer months in Nevada.
