“Your list of Ancients further re-inforced what I had learnt from searching ancient DNA with Gedmatch and MyTrueAncestry and has assisted me in proving who my ancestral groups are.
I have accessed your DNA database, and again have had some interesting finds regarding living kin.
The traits have been interesting, and I would like to obtain the rest of the traits via annual payments.”
“Es un sitio muy interesante que ofrece la posibilidad de acceder a informacion util para la investigacion genetica y genealogica de una manera visualmente agradable y con un contenido de alcance muy amplio (Informes de tipo muy diverso) que tambien es entretenido, sobretodo en lo que hace al analisis de rasgos. Se muestra interes en el usuario; en mi caso fui contactado personalmente y obtuve un informe gratuito cumplidos los requisitos de la situacion. Para mi, altamente recomendable.”
“The information is just as vague as every other platform. The daily attempts at upcharging. you is so annoying, after a week, I'm about to delete my profile. Waste of money!!!”
“Based on the advertisement, I was excited about using Genomelink. I paid for two distinct analyses. The results received were broad and unspecific--EASTERN EUROPE, BALKANS, NORTHWESTERN EUROPE. These areas are populated my many diverse groups. The anaylses did not drill down into any of these groupings. The adversiement appeared to promise much more indepth results. I am frustrated with myself for wasting the money on your product.”
“So far it's been interesting receiving a bit more information about my ancestors, and a bit frustrating too. I'm adopted and my last name is not my biological Surname.
My name was changed when my adoption was finalized back in the mid sixties.
I've been trying to find out where to post that tidbit of information.”
“This is a total money grab. They give you just enough information, leaving you thirsty for more. Want more? $39.00 for your heritage background (special offer of course). Want to see weekly updates?$$$$. Want to see matches? &&&. Want to know a deeper dive into your heritage? $$$. Want your heritage dna all a5 once, instead of one trait a week? $$$. This is my biggest disappointment yet from a program that offers all you want to know, then charges for every little thing for completeness. Stay away! Unless you have $$$$$$ to throw away. Stick with Ancestry or MyHeritage. For relations it gave me. 4th and 5th cousins. Want closer relations? You guessed it. $$$$. I know for a fact my entire family of siblings dna tested. Did not match them at all! Only for $$$$ can i see closer relations. Buyer beware! $$$$$$$ SCAM!”
“I decided to upload my DNA to hopefully get a better more clear understanding of my results, but I feel like I was even more confused. If you have the free optioneveryrhing is super limited. I paid for the global report and there was no expalnation, just general information on that particular area or region. It would be good if they had some kind of live support to help understand the results.”
“I knew I had European relation but on 23&me, it was just a small amount of Manchurian/Mongolian or Quintesson from the Transformers' DNA. So, I was able to see with Genomelink where the Caucasian DNA came from. Thanks.”
