“I have learned so much about where my ancestors are from. I am a lot more nationalities than I thought. I knew of 3 and with Genomelink I found that I have 3 more than I knew about. Thank you Genomelink.”
“If you're a DNA lightweight, this might work for you. It's a pretty expensive service that seems to be targeting people who don't have access to or know about GEDmatch. The "reports" they generate are not very accurate or detailed and give you an extremely general overview of a region without any specifics about YOUR particular DNA's migratory patterns or the populations they are referencing when saying, for instance, "Scandinavian Viking". I think the service would be more valuable if they were able to break it down in to actual populations (Finnish, 4%, Danish 12%, Swedish 2%, Norwegian 48%, Sami 22%). They are also generating reports for "traits" that are based on pretty loose science considering epigenetics and the changing quality of gene mutations. Seems like more of a FUN thing than a FACTS thing. If it wasn't so incredibly overpriced for very little qualitative information, it would actually be more FUN.”
“I love receiving my weekly traits which have been fairly accurate. I also love the DNA matching and the personal summary of my DNA which is mostly from Northwestern Europe and Indigenous peoples of North America. I plan to get more detailed reports of my ancestry soon.”
“Genomelink is a good source for finding out your recent and ancient ancestry. I love the extra bonuses like the genes you are most likely to have: i.e.: hypertension, diabetes, skin, eye color, etc.”
“After going through the trouble of making an account and uploading my DNA info from another company I had tested through previously, I was disappointed to find out that not only is each individual feature and report they offer a price of about $50 (give or take), but the database they claim you’ll be able to see all your family connections from other DNA companies is extremely limited. It only has other people that have also gone through the process of uploading their information to this specific website. The ad is very misleading and I was disappointed.”
