“I was on the phone with Adam, he was very polite and helpful, he took all my details in a few minutes. He then got me an appointment with Billy who again was polite and helpful, he gave me options on how to clear my debts and made me feel really comfortable whilst I was on the phone with him. I’m extremely happy with the outcome!”

“Goodness, where to start? Financial distress can make you feel completely debilitated. This was my case, circumstances caught me unaware following a breakdown of my marriage and subsequent divorce. I struggled for 12 months with my financial commitments, not going into arrears, but left without disposable income and no quality of life whilst trying to balance my situation. I confidentially spoke to a work colleague, she informed me that there was several ways to seek help and recommended Get Help With Debt, (GHWD) having heard about them from an acquaintance at work. So, I obtained their contact details, swallowed hard and made the call. I initially spoke with Billy, he was extremely sympathetic and allowed me to blurt out my anxieties relating to my financial dilemma. Surprisingly, Billy was non- judgmental, he wasn’t phased by the revelation of my debt amount. Over the same day, within hours, I’d emailed to him the requested documents, ID, address and access to bank accounts etc which were necessary in order to consider my eligibility for an IVA. I had previously explored this process, so I let Billy know I had a basic understanding of the process. Over the next day, I’d shared information/accounts of my creditorsI. And Billy sought balances to ascertain my level of debt. Over the coming days, Billy had progressed my case to the next level, I spoke with Mark, Andrew and Darren over this time. Each of these guys were involved in various disciplines for information gathering and compilation of such to assist with the the smooth progression of my telephone meeting with Darren. It is my understanding that Darren ensured that I met the threshold for consideration of an IVA, as well as discussing other alternatives to debt management and that I understood the various options. Following this meeting, maybe a half hour or so, that was my involvement as far as the application and goes of providing evidences of my situation. Again, I would like to say that Billy, Mark, Andrew and Darren were so professional, not overbearing whatsoever, but quite the opposite, friendly throughout the entire process, I was never afraid to answer the phone or open letters from creditors as I could state I was involved in a process with Get Help With Debt and this was ongoing. I am so so pleased to say that I left the process in the hands of Darren and the guys there, and they have, in less than 2 months, compiled, completed and subsequently presented the IVA to my creditors! This has now been accepted and passed by all of my creditors. My payments are a fraction of my initial monthly outgoings, giving me another chance to enjoy a work and life balance which I had long lost. Yes, there are conditions to the IVA, but there are other options of help available to explore with these guys should you require financial help. My experience with GHWD has been awesome, not intrusive whatsoever. Their empathic approach, coupled with their reassuring exchange of knowledge of financial systems has been outstanding. I can’t speak highly enough of all of the staff at GHWD, despite the fears of financial situation appearing unique, these guys made it feel like ‘run of the mill’ stuff, not phased by any of my financial disclosures. I would recommend Get Help With Debt unreservedly to anyone who finds themself burdened by debt, unable to manage or scared of the future around debt. Get that help, start here, you’ll be thankful you did! GHWD, you’re the best! Happy Christmas and thanks for making mine. 🙏😊”
