“Great bed and overall happy, was delivered on-time and well packed. Only reason for not being 5star was that ideally it needs an additional base plank and the instructions were a little tricky in relation to the headboard. But overall a good experience.”

“Arrived 5 days late which was very frustrating, but I believe the fault lay with the courier (FedEx) and not Get Laid Beds. I am happy with the bed and the self assembly was straightforward.”

“Great communication and fantastic quality mattress topper. My only gripe is that the carry case for the topper split on the first occasion that it was being used. The only blemish on an otherwise great experience and reason for the dropped star.”

“I purchased the Shoreditch bed frame with the headboard in the satin honey stained pine. The bed frame was delivered in 5 long cardboard boxes and was relatively easy to carry upstairs to the bedroom. When we started to build it, we discovered that the headboard didn't have any pre-drilled holes and some of the pre-drilled holes in the slates were not in the correct place when arranged evenly across the frame. Luckily we had a electric drill and a measuring tape so were able to build the bed without any further issues, which took over 2 hours, with 2 people. The Shoreditch design is good as it allowed us to fit our super king mattress into the available space. Initially, I wasn't sure about the platform style as I thought the mattress may slide around, but this wasn't a problem in the end. Overall, the frame is nice and sturdy and looks great.”

“The bed is sturdy once built However it was sent with the wrong instruction booklet making things more tricky than they needed to be. Also one of the screw positions for the bed legs is tricky to get in due to the position of the slat support and the length if the screw.”

“Love the bed! It was very well packed and mattresses had 3 layers of plastic to keep them clean and undamaged Didn't give 5 stars as the wood wasn't as good quality as I'd expected Some pieces had paint chipped off plus one off the castors was missing for one of the storage draws But other than that it's a great bed”

“The bed is partially constructed awaiting the installation of the bedroom carpet. The product is of very good quality, and the communication from Get Laid Beds during the manufacturing process was excellent. This is the second Get Laid Bed that I have built for the family. During the build of the first bed I found it quite difficult to tighten up the 60mm screws with a cross-point screwdriver. This may be an issue of my declining strength because of my age. For the build of the second bed I decided to use Spax T-STAR plus screws instead of the ones supplied with the bed. These have an untheaded section adjacent the the head, and together with the very positive-engaging driver bit, made the screw insertion much easier. I can strongly recommend these screws. Finally, I found the diagrams on the instruction sheets a little small. Maybe make PDFs of these available on your web site so that they can be enlarged for those of us that use a tablet device or conputer ?”

“This company sent what we ordered, undamaged by shipping, on the agreed upon delivery date, and makes a good quality product. I docked a star because I thought the product descriptions were somewhat lacking in accuracy and information (e.g. lingering odors on the bed frame).”

“Bed looks amazing and we are hoping the build quality is to standard and last the time. 10+yr plus guarantee helps that fact. Only issue i would say is the manual to build isn't the best- this needs to be improved alot”

“While selecting the Chelsea model it was unclear how the joints of the bed were secured. As I had been reviewing the item several times I began to receive advertsiement clips from youtube, clips which appear on screen while browsing. This helped me to understand the construction of the bed. I subsequently purchased a Chelasea bed along with 4 drawers for storage underneath. If the Get Laid website showed images of the screws with cup the washers in place I would have made my selection earlier. The construction was not difficult. The instructions were adequate. A minor point was the headboard drawing shown in the isntructions showed the three slats with mortice ends to be inserted into tenons on the bed post. The items recieved were fixed to the front of the bed post by screws from the rear. The drawers were simple to build and for an underbed darwer are quite substantial. Overall impression is the Chelsea Bed with storage drawers is well finished and I am pleased with the product.”

“I purchased the White Knight Bed in a small double size with honey stain. Get laid were super helpful on the phone answering my questions, online ordering and delivery was easy and on time. I also purchased duvets, sheets, pillows, mattress protectors and pillow protectors at a great price and the quality of these were excellent. Very pleased. The bed, once assembled, is very solid and strong. The honey stain is a gorgeous colour. Overall very happy with the experience and I plan to buy another bed from Get Laid. If I really had to be picky and find fault, which is very hard to do, I would say the following: The bed legs arrived packaged and wrapped up in plastic which took some of the stain off the wood so there is some discoloration on the legs. The assembly instructions aren't brilliant and are a bit tricky to follow but me and my husband managed it and are still happily married so it wasn't that bad. As other customers have said, the distance between the slats really should be stated on the instructions (in the case of the small double it is 10cm apart). The curved finish on the edges of the top of the head board legs and feet end legs were a bit roughly done. There was some minor dents on one of the wooden bed pieces. And the quality of some parts of the wood wasn't the best. But as I say I'm really trying to find fault here and once the bed was assembled and made up I didn't notice these issues anymore. We love the bed and I know if will last. And after you assemble the bed the room is filled with the gorgeous smell of fresh wood and wood stain. All in all very happy. And we will be buying another bed from Get Laid soon (might get them to assemble it for us next time!) and as I've said, I love the good prices and quality of their duvets, pillows and bed linen and will be buying more of these also. We didn't buy a mattress from Get Laid as we found a better price on a British made mattress elsewhere that was more in proportion to the price of the bed frame.”

“Order was processed and delivered within two weeks. Bed is really nice. Only downside were the instructions which were missing a lot of detail which led to guessing and making mistakes. Apart from that I'm really pleased and would buy from them again.”
