“Great music shop with good helpful staff. They where quite patient with the 3 kids that came along with us. Suggestion: Store could improve with a little table, chairs and crayons by the book area for the occasional kid while the mums and dads try out the gear ;) Prices are reasonable and the opening times are good for people that have daytime working hours. We believe we made a happy purchase.”

“As an absolute beginner to guitar playing the purchase of a new electric guitar was daunting. However, the staff at GigGear spent a lot of time explaining and giving advice to help make the choice a lot easier. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the instruments and the various models available. They could also demonstrate them to help with the decision. The help does not end at the point of purchase as the staff are always there to support you with after sales service and general advice. All good reasons to buy locally and support your musical retailer.”

“I have been visiting Giggear since day one. They treat everyone with respect. You can browse. Try out instruments with permission. Very well educated staff with a friendly manor. If they had a coffee bar and bed it might even be my second home”

“My guitar sounds clearer. I have been playing the guitar for over fifty years. it has been a hobby since playing as a teenager in the 1960s. I now unfortunately have Parkinson's and although I can still play the guitar lt is a lot easier useing your extra light gauge.”
