“I am very disappointed with the service from the Glasgow Games shop. I placed an order on-line on the 29 July for 1 off S08023-L and 1 off S08020-L. The Order Ref is GLASS013258 and both items were shown as IN STOCK. When I telephoned the help line to check on despatch on the 4 August, I was then told that the S08023-L was now SOLD OUT. No explanation was given as the why one had not been allocated for my order. But on my credit card statement both items have been charged to my account. I would appreciate your comments. Mick Foster”

“I never received this item. It required a signature and we were away on holiday. Please cancel this order. As I work, I will not be available to sign for the receipt of a T shirt. Very disappointed.”

“I ordered a small Clyde mascot toy Which in lovely. I ordered it on the 28/7/14 it arrived today 8/8/14 ten working days someone is having a laugh not me .”

“Incorrect item sent and now the item I originally ordered is out of stock in my size. Extremely disappointed!! Even the delivery note stated the correct tee shirt but somehow a different tee shirt was enclosed.”

“Excellent quality item but inaccurate sizing. Ordered a ladies Small hoody for my daughter who is normally a size 6-8 but she struggled to get it over her head as the neck area had no give. When she eventually got it on it was very tight so have to return it, desperately hoping there are Medium sizes left.”

“I ordered merchandise on 21st July as we were going to the games on 27th July. I received the order yesterday, 7th August. In addition to this, the cap is damaged and will need to be returned. This is really disappointing as we wanted to wear the items to the event. I am reluctant to return the items as they took so long to arrive and I am worried that I will not receive a refund.”

“The purchases I made are for family in the USA and I know that they will love a piece of home and history. However, I received my chosen items today and found that the very same items were on sale SALE in the store at George St (which I thought would be gone once the games closed) I asked if I could get a refund on the online purchases at the store and was told NO. Not impressed. £17 for a fleece blanket which is now £5........................”

“I ordered a polo shirt which arrived promptly however the stitching on the label at the bottom of the polo shirt where a tab with the official motif is was only connected halfway across and as such the label is camping way from the polo shirt. This require re-stitching prior to wearing for the first time or it will rip.”

“In making my initial order on-line I never received email confirmation the order had been accepted despite being informed I would. My other 2 orders made on the same day were for some reason deleted from my basket. Telephoned the shop outlining the above and the order was taken over the phone with a promise I would receive an email acknowledgement as it was being sent as I spoke with the agent, this too never arrived in my inbox or indeed 'junk' box. Telephoned the shop again about the status of my orders as I had attempted to 'track' my order on the Royal Mail tracking system with the tracking reference given on the email received but this was rejected by the Royal mail website. I then called the shop again and was asked to confirm my email address which I did and lo and behold I received an email outlining the status within a few minutes. My initial order item, a Triathlon Pin has now been delivered despite being informed it was not due for delivery until 10th August. More that satisfied with the goods and I will put the initial confusion down to website Start-Up teething problems.”

“Hoody came and although one size bigger than I would ever order I couldnt even fit my head through, and the cuffs were far too tight. Called to get a larger size but not in stock so only option is to get a refund.”
