“Easy to order. I was kept in touch with how my order was progressing. When it arrived everything was there, very good clothes for my family. A swimming pin for my friend who teaches swimming to youngsters. Only pity was unable to buy a special tartan tie for a friend. BJ”

“The Commonwealth Games, as cheesy and predictable as it sounds, were definitely one of the highlights of volunteering I have done to date. It was fantastic to see so many people come together to enjoy the friendly games, and to be able to be a part of of that experience and the 'community' feel that Glasgow had throughout the games was truely a privilage.”

“I'm sorry to say this however I have not had a good experience of purchasing from the Glasgow 2014 shop. I placed an order at the beginning of August. The item I ordered appeared to be in stock when the order was placed. However I received nothing in the post. After around 12 days I telephoned the shop to find out where my order was to be informed that the item was out of stock. I was extremely disappointed as I missed the opportunity to purchase the same garment from a 2014 shop in Glasgow and I was very keen to obtain a memento from the Games. I would also have expected someone to have contacted me to offer a refund on finding out the item was out of stock rather than initiate it myself. However the person I contacted by telephone was easy to deal with. I still have to check that the refund has been processed but i have not been sent a receipt to confirm the refund. I immediately ordered a replacement item. I was notified of its dispatch which was reassuring. The item is faulty because there is a gather where the fabric meets the collar line on the right side. However by this stage it is either this t-shirt or no t-shirt. I also consider that the postage cost was excessive. I feel that I have been provided a poor service and the Glasgow 2014 shop can get away with it because it is not reliant on repeat custom. This was probably amongst the poorest service I have received from an online retailer.”

“I was disappointed that , having made a purchase at your fabulous shop , the Harris tweed bag I purchased had very rusty metal rings on the handle . This was surprising as this was not a "souvenir shop " where stock may be around for ages but a "one off " for the Commonwealth Games . I loved the rug I bought .”

“I ordered and paid for items in the online shop on the 7th August. The money came out my bank account on the 8th of August. I have not yet received a confirmation email so have no tracking number, nor have I received the goods even though I paid for them a fortnight ago. You should not take the money out people's accounts until the goods have been dispatched. Very disappointing.”

“Ordered on the 5th when the transaction came off, it took 8 days before I received confirmation of the order, the email stated it would arrive in 2 working days, it actually took 3 days. I also learned later that if I went into the store I would have received a discount because I was a cast ceremonies volunteer but couldn't get a discount in the online shop.”

“Disappointed as item selected was in stock yet appeared to take over 2 weeks to be delivered. Turnaround very slow and I needed to call to see when it would be dispatched.”

“The delivery was quick and as stated. The T-shirt I purchased was very good quality and as advertised. I am very pleased with the service and the products that I received. So if anyone out there wants memorabilia from the games it's a good place to go. Happy shopping.”

“I understand from the e-mail sent re the Glasgow shop that all items had been reduced by 50%. I therefore ordered a tee shirt which I had previously looked at whilst in Glasgow and thought to be too expensive to buy. Having placed the order I was advised by the Glasgow shop that the offer of 50% only applied to items purchased in the shop and not by computer. Obviously I am very disappointed and consider that the advert of 50% off was misleading. It is all the more unfortunate as I took the trouble to buy tickets for the games and support the games by attending. Not good customer service. I have not yet received the tee shirt. Clare Hammond”

“I purchased a 'we are England' white men's t shirt for my husband as a gift as we were going to some commonwealth games events. Arrived in good time and I was very impressed. However I washed it, admittedly on wrong setting and the 'lion' logo came off completely. I have tried twice to 're-order, was promised an email and received nothing and no goods either! I have no idea whether my order has gone through or not. Am going to have to check website yet again to see if there is a 'contact us' button to find out what has happened to my order! I am now not impressed.”

“The fridge magnets came very quickly. They are for a friend. I would never have paid £2.75 for such useless items. Now she wants one with a 'scots man 'on! Good job your'e efficient!”
