“I felt I had to do a further review on G2Y because of a problem I had .
I have bought several pairs of specs from them and always been happy with everything. Because you have to adjust the frames to fit I am pretty good at doing that and it is what you are paying for when you pay hundreds of pounds from a High Street store. My latest pair went wrong.!
I crashed on with a hairdryier but had difficulty with the right hand side piece getting it to fit. I eventually realised that it was actually twisted.Now I am not sure if it was like that originally or whether I did it by my clumsiness. I decided to live with it ,thinking it was probably my fault. However ,when I did a review,a good one ,because the specs were otherwise great,I noticed the usual message from G2Y saying get in touch if not happy. I did so,with pics explaining that it could well have been my fault. Russel said return them .I then asked if it would cost me. No ,was the reply.The result was the specs returned with a new frame. No hassle ,no quibbling.
That sort of service is worth knowing. You may be concerned about getting specs online at huge savings but G2Y are sound.
Give them a try,you won’t be dissapointed.”
“great experience, i ordered varifocals with lenses that go tinted outside, i got a call a couple of hours after order to confirm my prescription as i was missing some information. Ordered them New Years Eve and just received them, great vision and very happy”
“I have been ordering glasses with almost exactly the same prescription for 20 years.( I am strongly nearsighted.) I have three pairs of glasses of almost the same exact shape with the same prescription. In comparing the thickness of the edges of the glasses made by Glasses2you it is clear to me that they are approximately 1/3 thicker than other glasses of very similar shape with supposedly the same refractive index of 1.74. Thus I am positive that I was cheated by paying for the 1.74 index lenses and receiving instead lenses with refractive index of either 1.5 or 1.56. First they claimed that was because the frames they glazed were rimless as opposed to semi-rimless or rimmed. Then they sent some formula as an excuse for the lack of logic in their reasoning for why their glasses were one third thicker at the edges. In my photos the glasses with the green twist are the ones made by Glasses2you. Buyer beware!”
“My new varifocals arrived but there was something wrong with the distance vision. Contacted Glasses2you, they advised I have my local optician do another eye test. Turns out the first eye test was slightly wrong.
Glasses2you made me a second pair at no extra cost !

“Cancelled order due to strange emails and bombardment of further emails. Over 10 days now and no refund even though he says it's been done.
Seems like if you leave a bad review the refund goes through quicker. I am filing a claim against company with courts tomorrow morning. I wont be backing down.
