“On Monday afternoon at around 4pm I found that I could not complete the lab and by around 5pm it was discovered that my lab setup was broken.
On Tuesday morning this was fixed but again at around 4.30pm I found a similar issue and could not complete another lab.
On Wednesday morning this was fixed it seemed and I continued all day until around 4.30pm when I found that the routing setup on my lab was faulty or non-existent so I could not complete that lab.
On Thursday morning this problem was still present so I could only do parts of the lab which did not require branch site routing which was only fixed after Thursday lunchtime.
Hardware requirements for remote access attendees should state at least two monitors preferably three as I found it difficult with two and it would have been impossible with just one screen.
Too many documents need to be accessed at the same time. The Discoveries and Labs should all be in the same document as they are essentially the same. The discoveries are not numbered and are difficult at best to find when you need to do them at the end of each presentation section.
The differences between the local setup and the Cisco documentation were confusing and again required juggling other documents to see what differed.”
“Barry was great, very engaging. I found the course really useful, particularly working with people from different areas of Three.
Also, the Global Knowledge offices and facilities are really good.”
“Studying the CompTIA Network + course. For the amount of money paid, I am disappointed that we did not complete the course. I bought the book and at the start of the course I asked the instructor what parts do we not need to know. He replied we need to study all of the contents of the book. The 4 day course only covered 12 chapters of the 20 chapters in the book. So we only really covered two thirds of the course!”
“GK facilitated the training(s) very well, provided a sufficient lunch and good-excellent facilities and classrooms. Trainer was knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
Coffee could improve. Cookies sometimes ran out. ;-)”
“I thought the Instructor was excellent, very knowledgeable and made the course both interesting and entertaining. The course material however was non existent for me, I was send an email with a link to download the book, however our infrastructure would not allow us to do that, hence no course material as no hard copy was provided, and there were no hand outs. I found this very disappointing.”
“The amount content covered was poor. I feel like this would have been different if my teacher had not gone off course so often and for so long. But what I did learn was good.”
“Great trainer, content more for beginners in Supplier Management, but still some good tools to use in day to day role and manual is a good reference point for future reference”
“I was concerned the first day of the course as I felt we were not learning anything although the days that followed were a vast improvement and lots was covered. This was my first virtual course which I was dubious of although after a few teething problems I found this really worked well. The trainer was great and gave us ample of opportunity to ask questions etc. All in all I found this a very worth while course.”
“I followed a 4 days storage course and did enjoy all of the aspects: knowledge of the subject of the instructor, the material and labs, class infrastructure and meals. I surely would recommend a course at Global Knowledge”
“You sent the email to this feedback to 'Stuart' but my name is Penny.
I have been on many ITIL courses and Paul Wigzels' delivery of this course was excellent, he made it interesting, interactive, ensured everyone was included and encouraged participation by all. A genuine interest in the way our organization works and how we relate ITIL practice. The course was very enjoyable and I particularly liked the practical team tasks. The best ITIL course I have attended.”
“Dear GK Team,
I would rate overall experience as Good to Very Good.
For the recommendations, I think it could be better to have an exam next day instead of the last day of the training as the course is insightful and requires recap/revision before taking the exam. Also I am pleased with the trainer/instructor who gave precise and prompt responses whenever questions were asked and covered theoretical topics providing its practical business applications.
Thank you.
Yours Sincerely,
Ivane Bidzinashvili”
