“When I tried to go with the insurance company after putting in my details several times to make sure it was right , the insurance company could not give me the insurance at the price quoted , not happy to have time wasted”

“Firstly I could not buy my first choice car insurance “quote me happy” and had to buy a more expensive policy from “General Accident “ I also did not receive the TopCashback allowance of £28.”

Apologies that the insurers website was not working as it should be, as this is not on GoCompare.com, we are unable to view what error you potentially encountered. As long as you followed the terms and conditions with top cashback you should be eligible for the cashback. The validation process for cashback can take up to 180 days, although it is usually done a lot sooner. “Poor customer services. Tried to ring as my quote disappeared, and phone was, after the normal automated reply, went dead. Tried twice, left and an email to them but no reply.”

“Useless..first site just went blank ..got a random mobile number call from someone saying can I help that cocked up the next site I was on....all I wanted was car insurance from the 20th of March...I'll just go to the other compare site as will the family and friends....to you it's just one person yet that's ten fold times ten fold...”

“Once I had made a general enquiry GC send email after email and it seems impossible to unsubscribe. I didn’t follow the GC quote up as I got the insurance £200 cheaper from Direct Line.”

“I was presented with only the cheapest quote when I was online. When I transferred to an operator she spoke too fast for me to understand what she was saying in spite of numerous requests to slow down.”

“Your adverts are misleading, totally. I used your site to get prices, then through your site went to buy products, then the price quoted goes up by minimum 10%. I went direct to the sites you quoted and the price is cheaper. Total rip off...”
