“I TOOK GOOD TO-GO WITH ME WHILE BACKPACKING THE 100 MILE WILDENRESS SECTION OF THE APPALACHAIN TRAIL IN MAINE, AND THEY DID NOT DISSAPOINT! DEFINITELY THE BEST FREEZE DRIED FOOD I HAVE ENCOUNTERED! I LOVED THAT I COULD CHOOSE DAIRY FREE OPTIONS, AS I AM LACTOSE IN-TOLERANT-IT MADE THE ENTIRE TRIP BETTER! BEING FROM AND LIVING IN MAINE MYSELF, I LOVED THAT GOOD TO-GO IS MADE IN MAINE-I GET TO SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS, AND EAT GOOD FOOD ON THE TRAIL. THANK YOU!”

“Oh how much I love Good To-Gos. After eating one too many other dehydrated foods Good to Gos flavors are a much needed and much loved change. My favorite being the Thai Curry, so good, even has broccoli pieces in it!”

“I bought a variety of flavors for an upcoming backpacking trip. So far at home I have "tried out" the Herbed Mushroom Risotto, and I can tell you I find it is quite delicious. I will be loading up a bear can while on my trip, and liked the way not only this flavor, but all the ones I bought, will pack well into the can, as they are not overly bulky. Recently Backpacker Magazine gave the White Bean and Kale Stew meal a rave review, and I will try that flavor next. Besides its packability and the good taste, I do like knowing the ingredients in these meals are pronounceable. I think all these meals will turn out well, and I look forward to giving them all a try!”

“I Love GTG meals ! All of the different recipes are great. Easy to prepare, good quality bag, not too salty, the bags stand up well when packed in tightly in a backpack, they last well past the expiration date.”

“I had the Thai Curry today and thought it was great!!! Spicy but not too spicy (and I am sensitive to spices). I have not used the meals in the mountains yet, I wanted to try a few before relying on them during a trek. I will definitely purchase the Thai Curry again.”

“I do a 7 - 13 day backcountry trip every summer, in places with no trails, no support, no possibility of resupply, etc, so we carry everything. After trying many brands of freeze dried food, these are the ones that make up 80-90% of our dinners. So tasty, so easy, so interesting, .... never too much salt (which is a complaint I have of many other brands) dinner is always a treat looked forward to.”

“The best backpacking food ever! Easy to prepare and delicious! No messy pots to clean up afterwards; just pack the empty bags to take back home and dispose of them appropriately. The food is very flavorful and healthy. Our family will definitely keep purchasing it for our backpacking trips.”

“Great way for us to get into thru hiking the Long Trail in Vermont with minimal fuss. Was easy for the two of us to have dinner ready after longer than expected days on the trail. Especially easy when it was raining or after dark. Really like that the sodium is lower than other backpacking meals.”

“The HERA Analog mission at Nasa Johnson Space Center has been using Good-To-Go freeze dried foods and it has been a marvelous addition to our menu. Staff is helpful, courteous, and the items ship quickly.”

“My strategy is to immediately unpack my small jet boil when stopping for the night. Pour boiling water in pouch, reseal and begin setting up camp. No worries at that point since the veggy/vegan meals are better with age. I've found 30-45 minutes creates soft noodles, increased flavours and overall enjoyment.
