“I always buy Bath and Body Works White Barn candles. I bought these hoping to replace them. But so far, they turn black and the smell doesn't last. I guess I'll be going back to Bath and Body Works.”
“I love the smell, and for the most part they're great. But I noticed that the Forest Pine Tree 3 wick candle became incredibly smokey halfway through, and the design on the outside of the glass started to melt.”
“I have a bad first experience. I ordered 2 candles that took forever to arrive, when they were finally delivered ,my candles were nowhere to be found:) apparently UPS picked them up to return to the sender for some kind of policy in my apt complex.
I Contacted them (GC) and they never gave me a solution or workaround bc apparently the candles were not returned to them and I lost my candles and money...”
“I also ordered candles on Dec. 8. No they never shipped. I contacted customer service via email on Dec. 23 or 24 asking them to cancel my order and refund me my money. I also told them that I would probably try them in the future since it seems they were not able to handle the logistics of the orders they received. They responded and refunded me my money. I had money back within 2 business days.”
“You didn't make me happy 1st of all , I ordered 2 and a half weeks before Christmas and it's still going to be late, 2. now I have to pivot to something else on the special day. 3. it's shameful you made sure you got paid first but where are my items. 4. tighten up in your shipping department it's poor customer service to take 2+ weeks at the holiday to deliver anything .”
“Their candles smell good, but customer service needs to improve. I contacted them because I had an item missing from my order and wanted them to send it to me. They send me a gift card instead of the order, so now I have to pay shipping again to get the item I wanted. Back to Bath & Body Works I go!!!!!!”
“The candle smelled good and burnt slow which was very nice. The only issue I encountered was as it burned to the end the plastic started burning off the glass jar in several places. Which was not safe at all. The system didn't allow me to upload my photos.”
“Ok, so I'm giving a 3. Why? - because some of their candles smell amazing. The issue? Their leather candle and bourbon candles are never available anymore and they are the 2 that make goose creek popular IMO. Lastly every time I order I spend 100+ and it never lets me leave a review of the candles I purchase. Like I went to review their "Clarity" one because it smells like shower mold and it won't let me. There isn't even an option to do so.”
