“The grass arrived on a palate the top pieces were OK but they were very very dry,as we got to the bottom row of rolls on the palate they were incredibly dry the grass was mostly dead when we unrolled it we have watered it well every night however the dryer bits still look very dead we have also used lawn food to help it along. The grass looks as thought it is of two different variety's the top rolls grass was lovely and thick and the grass was very green and healthy which I would expect with their top range however a few of the rolls had thinner wirey grass that was not as green or thick and has not seemed to have the same quality.”

“Great company and the blue Slate is perfect. Looks fantastic in my garden. The only problem is the awful courier delivery company who made a real shambles trying to get it on my driveway because the guy was having a bad day and the rubbish customer service cranleigh freight provide.”

“Product as expected, quick delivery, but what made it for us was your driver. He was the most helpful delivery driver I have ever encountered! Very nice man and he not only put the stones over the fence so we did not have to barrow them in but he suggested I cut the bags so he could drop the stones onto the floor so spreading was easier. I would use your company again if we could have that driver, to be honest whatever he is paid is not enough, he made a tedious job so much easier.”

“There was a 3 day delay between my email contact with the company and a response, on an ask the company live site I was sent a message advising my bark chippings - over 1 tonne in weight was due for delivery over a 2 day window... does that mean they expect me to be waiting at home for 2 whole days? The product itself is great and the value for money is good BUT The delivery driver was absolutely appalling - to the point i nearly refused delivery. I got a call 20 mins before the driver was due to turn up (good service) but i was not at home at the time as was after 4 pm in the afternoon so had assumed as no call earlier in day that my delivery would be the day after. The chippings are for paths in my allotment area which is not directly attached to the house the driver was all but refusing to deliver to a separate area. After much persuasion he then got the lorry stock due to poor driving skills on hos part as numerous HGV use this lane. After being rude to me verbally and then when i tried to resolve the issue by getting a local farmer to open his yard to give him extra turning space - he ignored us both and chatted on his mobile for over 5 mins leaving us standing aghast. Eventually after a bit of argument about his inability to correctly manoeuvre his vehicle then wanted to dump over a ton bag of product half on the road and half in my gateway - blocking ,my access and any road users...he had a pump truck but would nt move the product past the gate At this point i said unless he allowed me use of his pump truck to move it myself i would send it back Grasslands this driver is damaging to your business - if i did not need the product as opening my allotment for charity - i would have refused the delivery. The man was a liability in a customer service industry. Point to note, I have been an area manager in retail for the last 15 years - i would not tolerate this service or this individual regards S Mulgrew”

“I ordered a 1000kg ( bulk bag) of plum slate. It took 5 working days to arrive and had to be manually moved off the truck by the delivery driver by hand and put where needed all with a palet jack ( poor driver) . The slate was very dusty when arrived so couldn't see true colour of what the plum slate was like until moved into position and washed. I was quite disappointed with the quality of the slate as there was lots and lots of green and white slate and grey pieces plagued with small crushed slate Which was rather annoying because if you was putting the slate down on membrane it would more than likely clog it all. The slate needs a really good wash before going down as it was covered in a film of clay by the looks of it and needed a good blast with the hose to get it off . In the the picture on the site the plum slate looks more plum and intense than it does in person. Happy that I paid the price that I did and would have been disappointed of I had of paid more.”

“I chose their best quality turf. It was full of weeds, which once pulled out has left bald patches all over my lawn and the grass was very thin to start with. To make things worse the cutter they have for the rolls left one end 2" wider the the other, making it impossible to lay neatly.”

“Can't fault them. Goods very reasonably priced and as described. Kept well informed of delivery status, delivered on time and driver very pleasant and helpful. Can't ask for more.”
