“I bought 1Ton plum slate, ordered on a Friday for delivery the following Monday, Was promised a order confirmation by email which I never received . The delivery was made promptly and to my full satisfaction. However the driver turned up with a 7T Lorry which is unsuitable in my road, he struggled to turn his vehicle round and damaged some neighbours fencing .. It would have been good to have either a text message or a pre delivery phone call to know the approx. delivery time”

“I ordered a bulk bag of Cotswold Buff gravel. The colour is NOTHING LIKE that shown on your website!! I had selected it to match our existing drive - but had to buy ANOTHER bulk bag in an attempt to hide all the existing gravel. Even the second 1,000 kg bag has barely hidden all the original gravel but I can't afford a third! I am disappointed. It also seems extremely soft and I am worried it will turn to dust in no time.”

“Overall very happy but was a few defects along a few edges that would have occurred when being lifted. Nothing that couldn't be sorted with the off cuts.”

“I asked for specific delivery on a Monday as I had people coming to help move the soil first thing on Tuesday. Nothing arrived on Monday and I phoned in the afternoon to be told I should have been informed the soil would be arriving on Tues / Wed. This phone call hadn't happened so I was promised a follow up call the same Monday. Again, no contact so three more phone calls later I got through to someone who did phone me back and the soil arrived early on Tuesday afternoon. Poor communication and significant inconvenience caused in what should have been a straightforward purchase and delivery. But the send person I spoke to was helpful and efficient to do what she could to help”

“The product was great! Exactly what we were expecting, unfortunately the dispatch let this order down. We were quoted a price for delivery that stated 2-3 days ( we assumed working days) but we ordered wed and it wasn't dispatched till mon? Then delivery took 2 days.”

“Grasslands were easy to deal with and very helpful. The courier did not deliver on the day they said they would but that was due to a staffing issue and not down to Grasslands. Would happily use them again.”

“Fair pricing on average with competitors. I was disappointed with delivery arrangements however. On my enquiry, I was quoted around £40 for next day delivery but I declined that option going for the standard 3 to 5 working days. I requested delivery on my driveway as I had prepared my front for topsoil and turfing. All fine so far. I went out the next day and returned to find it had been delivered the next day after all. I had not been informed (a call to inform me perhaps that they were in fact delivering?) and what's more they had delivered the two large pallets of turf and tonne of topsoil and left them on the very area I had left prepared for turfing. This added time and unnecessary labour shifting it all.”

“I emailed Grasslands on the day of delivery so surprised was I at their quality of service. I thought their type of service had gone forever and I can assure anyone thinking of buying from Grasslands to go ahead. From order to delivery everything went like clockwork, the product is excellent and the delivery aspect astonishing as the driver was able to put the bags exactly where I wanted them. David Adkins”
