This company are the absolute worst, their customer service is shocking. They lie to you about your order, they refuse to cancel or refund your money for items you have not received. The staff just are rude and send you cheeky messages when you dare to complain about the poor service you receive. They then deleted my account when I told them I was going to take this further. Avoid.

I tried to use my Groupon gift card but the site said I was entering a wrong code on their website. I called their telephone number on the back of the card and they don’t take calls. I tried their chat 8 separate occasions and when the rep didn’t know the answer to something they just stop answering. I asked to speak to a supervisor in at least 4 occasions and they said one would get back to me w/in 24 hours. Yet not once did they ask for my telephone number or email, so obviously no one was going to get back to me.

Got given afternoon tea voucher from my daughter. Was unable to book it until 17 e mails later so had to sadly involve daughter. I suspect because of this many vouchers go unused Also turned out voucher only covered Mondays and Tuesdays which was stated no where clearly

Groupon does not verify its merchants and do not provide refunds when their merchants do not provide services. I purchased a costly beauty treatment from a merchant on the groupon website and even used their booking portal within the website for acompany called Ashtones Beauty in Fulham. During a train strike, I spent £25 on taxis and I was told to purchase my own numbing cream (a further £25 cost) prior to attending the treatment. When I arrived, the salon was completely shut. I called the number listed and texted several times as I waited for 30 minutes outside in the freezing cold. I also sent 3 emails. The emails were read but never responded to. I reached out to Groupon customer service to alert them of the merchant clearly fraudulently offering services and taking funds. Groupon refused to return my money and repeatedly said that instead that they would reach out to the merchant on my behalf. I said at least a dozen times that I do not wish to have any one who clearly runs a fraudulent business performing any type of invasive or touch-based treatment on me and that I simply want a refund. They refused. They also violated the GDPR law which prohibits them from sharing customer information even though i specifically said I do not give permission for my details to be shared. When I insisted that I want a refund, they simply put me on hold for over an hour and then cut me off! Do not use Groupon - they do not verify their merchants and they do not provide any security or safety for the consumer. Rather use treatwell

My partner acquired covid and was unable to use the cruise voucher. So the merchant asked that a member from groupon contacts them to process the refund which they refused to do multiple times. Their terms and conditions of the sale is very unethical and their customer service is extremely poor with very delayed replies, e.g we’ve been going back and forth over messages for several weeks because they don’t have a phone service. I never write review but I highly recommend you NEVER EVER use them.

Absolutely awful customer service using Chat Line. Asked three times for my name and was told could not verify, although confirmation email addressed correctly. Order was not as advertised, will never use Groupon again as problems do not get resolved.

I was not made aware I purchased a ticket to California instead of Universal Orlando. I wasted $94 dollars and they will not refund my money. I will never use Groupon again.

Ordered some slippers, process not clear most of my order has not turned up, tried to track order on groupon, no up to date information on site. One pair of slippers needs to go back, but have emailed groupon and the seller and have received no response from either of them. Money has been taken out of my account and goods not delivered. The whole process is not fit for purpose, DO NOT BUY FROM GROUPON. I wonder if I may get a response now? I most probably will be back writing another very poor review.

My Group also purchased 8 tickets to Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Night only to find out they were for Hollywood California. We are getting the run around and were out $700. We go to Groupon for local deals in Florida, why were we routed to California deals. Why is it more important to Groupon to steal money from their customer rather than offer a refund or at least an exchange? All discount stores offer store credit, or and exchange. An offer to exchange the tickets should be an easy fix if you cared about your customers. I guess this happens all the time and were just #Grouponscrewed. I was searching for tickets to go to Orlando horror nights. I googled "Orlando, fl Halloween Horror nights discount". A link to groupon came out and promoted me to pick a date and pay. We did just that and after we bought the tickets, in very small print, it stated it was for Hollywood California not Orlando. Being that we don't even live in California and hadn't used the tickets at that point, we tried asking if we can get a refund. We were even willing to trade the tickets to the Orlando ones who were also being sold on their app. They were a bit more expensive but we were willing to pay the extra and still buy them from Groupon. After three days of communicating with anybody we could, finally hear from the manager saying they can't refund us bc I'm very tiny print it states "no refunds". Considering that they took us to the wrong site when we looked for Orlando discounts and considering the fact we don't live in California, I feel Groupon could have helped us and should have helped us if they wanted to. It's also important to state that two different customer service representative told me straight out that that mistake has happened multiply times. These customer service representatives also started that they were confident the manager would be willing to help us. They closed still not to refund our money. They apparently can't survive without my $300 they tricked us into giving them. I will never ever use Groupon again.

I honestly wish I could choose not to add a single star. I purchased a groupon for an escape room. I was called by the manager informing me that they had a power outage. He offered me a refund. I received the email confirmation for my cancellation and the processed refund. I waited two weeks and still hadnt received my money so I contacted the business again. They informed me that I may have been refunded in groupon bucks. I got on the live chat, gave them the information pertaining to my purchase and they told me that the purchase was from something completely different from 2013! I almost lost my mind because at that point I felt like I was being scammed. I had to go to the BBB to get my money back. DO NOT USE GROUPON! DO NOT USE GROUPON! DO NOT USE GROUPON!

BEWARE... If you have a credit card associated with your Groupon account you may inadvertently BUY a product you're still reviewing. I was searching for a sightseeing cruise. I had several windows opened on my computer and hit the buy button in error. I was suddenly greeted with "purchase complete" and "all sales are final". I immediately contacted groupon within 2 minutes and they will not cancel my order. I now have a voucher I paid $183 for that I will never use.

I purchased a Groupon from Okanagan Surf and booked a time for the experience directly on the Groupons website. I was then given lies as to why the appointment would be cancelled and was offered a refund by the company. The refund never came. I contacted Groupon and sent them all my communication and supporting documents with Okanagan Surf and was advised I would get a refund from Groupon. After, 5 days the refund never came. I contacted Groupon to be told they would give me a one time credit as a courtesy. Say what? Their vendor can’t fulfill an obligation and I’m getting a credit?!!!!! I have refund written in writing from both the vendor and Groupon! Do I trust or recommend Groupon? No!!!!!

Groupon advertisement for FIT weight loss Management is BS. Buyer BEWARE the ad shows $35 or if “lucky” an additional $20 off coupon to apply at checkout for weight loss Lipo alternative B12/B6 injections to aid in weight loss. It sounds great, right? Yeah that’s what I thought…Total “clickbait” I call FIT they require a non-refundable $100 “deposit” lmao! For what I couldn’t tell you. Why, bc Groupon says in their advertisement that the price offered includes everything I just mentioned as well 5 weeks of B12/B6 injections. This all bogus and VERY misleading. Groupon never mentions the actualities which this Very expensive experience actually entails. BOO Groupon y’all suck and should be ashamed for misleading all of the customers that have had to fork over tens of hundreds of dollars for basically a “bougie” keto diet with weekly weigh-in’s. You would expect for the amount of money they charge that they would at least be able to provide you with a meal plan or something haha think again! BC they offer nothing like that just a 25min old fashioned outdated goofy lady explaining that you MUST drink a gallon of water and absolutely no carbs only eating high lean protein to achieve any type of results. Funny Groupon never mentioned anything of what I just mentioned. Hummmm Good luck but don’t say that you haven’t been warned. As for Groupon huh, I don’t expect much or that they’ll even see this post. So whatever what’s been done has already happened, se La vie and move on. Live & learn. Just thought I’d pay it forward a s hope my msg prevents anyone from getting hustled/ burned/ taken advantage of, the way I did. Groupon is going downhill so fast, for years I had occasional issues with them but I was always able to get a solution until last week, I decided to buy a refurbished camera that didn’t work, I sent them more than four emails and not once I got an answer from them, tried calling and live chat and I was always redirected to send an email, so I ended up filling with BBB and I am waiting to get my money back. I will not use groupon anymore, this company is a scam and you can get better deals without them for sure just contact the business directly.

I have had a very very BAD experience!!!!!!! Microblading!!! let me add here the happenings: I bought a voucher and it was the worst cosmetical experience that I have had and the worst outcome!!!!! let me just say this. Groupon refused my refund!!! Excuse me? Are you realistically telling me that after all my complaints and all the things that I have just explained in all the communications, you ARE NOT GIVING A REFUND? I mean, and on top of it, the person is still available on your website and offering the same poor service, reaping people off money and hundreds of pounds with such a poor service????? You tell me that this person can still provide services like this, and make microblading on human faces, like real cosmetical interventions on a person's face, with such a poor way, and on top of everything with copy pasted pics from google???? Do you understand that this person is not showing her real work and copy-pasted a picture of another person on her account???? Sorry but what exactly have you done against such a behaviour actually???? according to your very puerile and naive answers, I understand you have done NOTHING???? This person asked from me 50 pounds for a 1 hour cosmetical procedure, that would be supposed to last for months, and genuinely from the first week, you could tell that the lines are unfinished, the microblading was not done deep enough and it will last max 2 months instead of 12 months?????????????????????????? I purchased a groupon for a pillow based on the photo on Groupon's website. What I got was a classic "Just Nailed It." Groupon offered me $5 in Groupon bucks but wouldn't refund the mess they led me into. My husband was suprised on Father's Day, but he described his surprise as "Scary." Not what I was aiming for at all.

The website is unreliable and will charge you multiple times for an attempted purchase. When attempting to get a refund you will be told there is an all sales final/no refund policy. They do not care of it was a website error. They will not give you a phone number to speak to a human being. They lure you in to hopefully save money then steel your money. They do not care about their customers.

I have purchased tickets for the show. 4 days before the date Groupon cancelled my tickets without a good reason. I contacted them in regards to this. At first they were saying that my booking has not been cancelled and I should call the venue to confirm- I did and they said my name is not on their list. Groupon then said I cannot get a refund. I should instead use the credit on account to buy something else. I insist on a refund as their policy on their website clearly states: 'We are actively in touch with our partners and will let you know as soon as possible if your event is cancelled or rescheduled, and we'll issue a REFUND at that time'. So they cancelled, NOT rebooked and NOT refunded!! Customer services were replying for a while until I asked for a manager to get in touch.....after that no one has gotten back to me even though I am now sending an email every few days. I have used live chat and email as there is no way of contacting them via phone- they are still using Covid as an excuse for not returning to their offices. They are a thieving company. I recommend not using them otherwise you will be fighting forever to get anywhere with refund. I am filing an official complaint with Citizens Advice Bureau and considering small claims court. I will not let them get away with this.
