“Ordered some brake pads. They gave me the wrong ones and couldn't deliver the correct ones until mid morning the following day (which was too late). They transferred me to a closer branch which assured me they would be out by 9:30am with the correct pads. Noone had arrived by 10:30am so I called the branch and they had no idea about it. New brake pads delivered by 11:15am....brought the incorrect parts again, had to wait for the correct set to be brought out once again. No apology, no attempt to make good a poor situation. Use a competitor, stay clear of Reading and Farnham branches”

“As a mechanic, we’d be used to getting a trade discount for parts and tools etc. GSF basically said this is the price pay it or go somewhere else. They were probably the dearest place in the country for what I needed that day, but they were the only place that had it in stock. It was a Saturday by the way, so everyone was saying I can have it in on Monday, but I wanted the job completed that day. As for the staff, I swear I’ve never met a more depressed human being on that counter in my life. He did not want to be there. My first words were, hi mate I’ve reserved an item to pickup here, I have the reference number here, what’d he say? Oh I know nothing about it, then started walking around looking around him before coming back and taking the reference number, didn’t go ask for help, never left my sight, just walked about, what??? Will NEVER use GSF again!!!”

“I drove 40 mins to collect an order. The young lad on the desk in Littlehampton checked my order and said it was wrong. He changed the order and doubled the price. He then said if I order online I can get the same price but I have to wait 45 mins . I ordered online and waited 45 mins. Went back in and he said they didn’t have that part but they have an alternative, I said ok I will take the alternative, he said I needed to order it online again and wait another 45 mins for them to receive the order. He was rude and obnoxious. I will never use that store again and pass this on to anyone who asks about GSF. I ended up getting my bits from Worthing store after driving another 45 mins. They were extremely helpful in Worthing.”
