Unfortunately the product had a major manufacturing problem. I was able to rectify this myself by drilling holes through the steel and I was given a partial refund, which was good, but would hope that the quality of the product would have been better up front.

Great product selection and prices however took 2 weeks to dispatch my order. No updates on my order in that 2 weeks but about 10 marketing emails to buy more items.

Product quality is great however my order was shipped to the wrong house and after contacting the customer service team I got one email back and never anything more. Luckily I figured out the house it was delivered to and got my order myself but if I didn’t I never would’ve received it. Don’t think this is their fault and was just a mistake.

Hi Dejan, we can assure you we are doing everything in our power to ensure dispatch and delivery delays are cut down. Unfortunately, these delays are largely out of our control and are a product of major courier companies changing their policies and procedures due to lockdown. I'm sorry to hear your experience with delivery times has been less than stellar. I'll be sure to pass this feedback on and work towards improving our service in the future. However, please note, due to Covid-19 this is largely out of our hands. We are doing everything in our power to combat delays, however they are streaming for the most part from our Couriers, not us. Good range of products and decent prices. Not the greatest communication, and fairly slow delivery (only received part of the order on first drop). Needed repeated prompts via email to get it resolved. I don’t think the company is dodgy, just a bit disorganised.

We ordered 6 dumbbells (3 pairs). They have arrived one dumbbell at a time for the first 3 of 6. The other 3 have been delayed and still haven’t arrived.

Hey Stephen, please get in touch with support ASAP and we can help talk you through this one. Due to Covid, some orders are being split into multiple shipments depending on the item weight and size. This is outlined on your order/shipping confirmation. Rest assured, you'll receive the other parts of your shipment within a few days of each other if the items are in stock. Thanks mate

Bought a pair of 5kg weigh plates but the metal sleeves are poorly finished and rough so I doubt I will ever put them on the bar. Low quality product.

Usually good. First order took 3 months which we were understanding of as all of Sydney had ordered things for the first covid lockdown. The next 2 orders were great. This order had the wrong weights delivered and then the courier for pick up to swap over just turned up with no notice from Gym Direct right on dinner time with a toddler. The correct weights have apparently shipped a few days ago but still haven't arrived.

Hi James, thanks for your feedback. We're sorry you were unhappy with the dispatch timeframe however this was clearly outlined on our website, and your products were dispatched within the written timeframe of 7-12 business days. We promise we are trying as hard as we can to ensure we meet the demands however unfortunately due to Covid-19 restrictions there isn't much we can do about that delay at this point in time. Regarding the weight plates, we can assure you it has nothing to do with products being left in the sun. The grease you noticed is a protective coating placed on all weight plates to ensure they don't erode or become damaged in the shipping process. It is a very standard practice in the fitness equipment industry. If there is anything we can do to assist you further with this please let us know! Gym Direct

I ordered a women's chrome barbell but I received a red one instead. They're the same thing so I won't bother going through the process of returning it. If they were out of chrome, I wish they would have told me first, and asked if I'd like a red one instead, or a refund.

The whole purchase process was a bit confusing. Not bad just weird. There was no information on how to activate the 1 year free iFit. There doesn’t seem to be any after sales support. I’m having issues and I’m getting no response from gymdirect or proform.

To activate your membership, you have to register on www.ifit.com.au and enter the 16-digit activation code on the back of the card you received. Then you can log-in with your account details on your cardio device. If you're still having issues, please give us a call and we will be able to help you over the phone. Have a great week!

I was sent the wrong size jump ropes initially, which had to be sent back and reshipped. Minor inconvenience but still sucked nonetheless.

This order was made because I ordered another rower which did not come in by the 'ETA', which was changed to two weeks later, then when I enquired after the second date it had not come in and they could not give me a firm date. The staff tried to be helpful but they could not give me the rower I had waited for.
