“Equipment did not come with instructions. Had a quality issue and still no response from warranty team. Ok product, would buy from a different supplier next time due to lack of customer service.”

“earlier order was delivered fine. However next order is not even shipped after one week of purchase”

Hi there, deeply sorry if we've failed to meet your expectations - however due to the current covid-19 situation in NSW our dispatch and delivery times have changed drastically and unfortunately, this is largely out of our hands. “My parcel arrived quickly. I purchased extra weights for a bar. The weights however did not fit the bar despite looking exactly the same as the ones that were already on it. I was very disappointed and as postage was so expensive I had to pay someone to fix them.”

Morning Danni, I'm very happy we could provide a fast and satisfactory delivery however in regards to the plate diameter size, each of our standard plates and pump plates has a specific diameter which is listed on our page and we do have a notice regarding this with the centre hole measurement and stating "If you are planning to use these plates with a different barbell, please check and compare dimensions PRIOR to purchase.", I'm sorry that you had to pay for extra services to have this resolved on your end however we do have the notice and measurements listed for our customers, please find the link to the plates below stating the notice for all customers. “I made my order in May last year. Granted covid was breaking out and everything was going crazy i totally understand that. However a few things are what lead to this review. First of all i only made my order after receiving an email informing me that the item was back in stock when in fact it never was. Secondly, months and months and months creep by with zero updates or any shred of customer service initiated from Gym Directs end. I acknowledge that i was offered a refund whenever i asked for an update but there was nothing extended on their end to their customers with unfulfilled orders. Now at month 10 after I make another enquiry about my order it was SUDDENLY back in stock and had arrived that day (yeah, sure.) I was told id be given tracking numbers that day (i had to follow up the next day), it was mysteriously not showing up in the tracking (had to follow that up too, likely it was not sent when i was told it was). Understand i was happy to be finally getting my item sent, however trying to sweet talk me with b***s*** was more of an aggravation than improvement- i am however thankful to Chris G for actually getting me my item. I suppose when i received my order having to bash out one of the brackets which was bent was just the final saw. I have bought id guess 70% of my gym equipment through gym direct (long before covid was a thing) and was always happy however how you have managed your supplies, stock and especially your customer base since the pandemic has left a lot to be desired and as it stands i will no longer be a customer of yours.”

“I was extremely impressed with the customer service I initially received when I was placing orders. Unfortunately it went down hill after that and my emails/phone calls didn't get returned and I had to constantly chase up updates.”
