“Oban Service Centre. 24/2/23 Up on holiday in Ardfern from North Wales the car started to misfire. Rang Halfords in Oban and spoke to the Manager Alasdair who was very sympathetic but because the centre was so busy he couldn't do anything. However he managed to fit us in for the following day. Took the car there the following morning but during the 45 minute journey the engine warning light came on. When we got there the garage was very busy. We were asked by Stuart if we could leave it with them for a few hours for them to get the diagnostic kit on it as they were so busy. Stu was so helpful and he even gave us directions to a beautiful walk around the headland to take the dog to. When we returned Stu had checked through the possible faults and cancelled the warning light The car was running as normal. Both Alasdair and Stu were so helpful and I would recommend the Oban Service Centre because of how they fitted us in and for rectifying the fault all with a smile Thanks lads”

“RECENTLY REQUIRED A COMBINED BATTERY CHARGER/TYRE INFLATER. FINDING IT DIFFICULT TO COMPARE WHICH APPLIANCE WAS THE MOST SUITABLE TO MEET MY REQUIREMENTS, I REQUESTED THE HELP OF A MEMBER OF STAFF WHO PUT ME AT EASE AND HELPED ME DECIDE WHICH ITEM I NEEDED TO PURCHASE, WHICH WAS THE SAME MODEL AS THEY USED IN-HOUSE,WHICH WAS RE-ASSURING FOR ME. THANK YOU.”

“I suppose there are different experiences at different centres. I cannot fault the staff at St Andrews, very pleasant, very polite, and did a good job replacing my brake pads. I'll certainly go back there.”

“This is the 2nd time I have commented on the great customer service that I received when visiting the Rutherglen store, this time I asked for some advice on my dashcam that had stopped charging, the Assistant new exactly what the problem was and promptly fixed it, I had had this dashcam for a couple of years and was sure I was going to have to buy a new one? Well done Halfords, I am a customer for life 👍😊”

“I had an MOT at this Halfords branch on 6th September and I was very pleased with the level of service I received. I dropped my car off earlier than it was booked in for and the garage managed to see to my vehicle quicker which was a bonus. The MOT was a pass with some advisorys, which demonstarted to me that the mechanic had paid care and attention to every aspect of the MOT requirements. The communication from the Halfords staff was to a high standard by calling me, emailing and leaving my voicemails to inform me of my cars MOT status. The staff were friendly and welcoming, The premises are clean and maintained to a high standard, there are offers and discounts displayed around the reception for customers to take advantage of such as Halfords Motoring Club which is FREE to join and you receive lots of discounts such as £5 off voucher, £10 off MOT etc. All in all your vehicle is taken care of and your not left feeling anxious about costs, service etc. I would recommend others to use Halfords.”

“St Andrews - Great customer service saves the camping trip. My car rattling at campsite, pull tailpipe and exhaust separated in middle due to rusted clamps. Couldn't drive car to garage. Halfords provided two clamps and kindly lend me a spanner so I could get back to camp site and self help. Customer service above and beyond showing the company name in a great light and ensuring I will use Halfords again and recommend them.”

“Can’t say a big enough thank you to John and the team at Newton Abbot. My car was originally booked into my Torquay branch but due to problems it was transferred across by a team member for me . From the minute I arrived John explained everything his customer service goes above and beyond any expectations you can imagine. I’ve been going to Halfords for many years totally trustworthy but the service at newton’s branch 150%”
