Employee exceptionally rude. Got irritated when I asked for an explanation if something she had said. I just went through a major hurricane, looking for a few supplies. I found what I needed. She says it was for show only I explained I was in an emergency situation her response was so... Why have items in perfect condition and just sit there collecting dust especially during times of emergencies. She told me she really didn't care. I walked out. Called corporate same thing. They DO NOT CARE IF A PRODUCT THAT WORKS PERFECTLY FINE IS SOLD OR NOT I WOULD THINK TWICE BEFORE GOING HERE

I placed an order in July, for a 6 color airbrush kit. I received an email it was on indefinite back order. I needed the kit by the end of August and found the kit at one of their local stores. I called and cancelled the order, which took a bit of work and was assured it was cancelled. I received an email today, October 8, that it will be delivered today. 😡 Now I have to deal with shipping it back and getting a credit on my account.

Hurricane Milton approaching. Went to purchase a generator. I was told they sold out of generators and that Corporate has told them that the 15-20 floor generators are not for sale. They have about 79 stores in Florida. That means they refuse to help over 1,000 customers in need. What a terrible company with horrible Corporate decisions for people in need. Stay away from this company, they are heartless!!!

No satisfaction on customer service. requested a call back instead of holding on line and three days later i have yet to receive a call Phone tag on speaking to a human being No one knows nothing I was told we don’t have any replacements parts once i did get thru . They will not stand behind their products sold at retail. After the sale they don’t know you. So i have equipment that does not work and they have no replacement part and no repair shop in the area Quality of product is not very good. As they say , you get what you pay for. What a joke. I renewed warranty and still no good I will not be going back. I will cancel my credit card account with them. Poor customer service and poor cheap tools that don’t hold up for a day

I return something a trimmer. Value $32.00. I wanted to return the trimmer because the quality was not good. The string wrapped around the machine 5 times. The MANAGER refused to give me the money or do a exchange. CHECK CASTILLO I HAVE BEEN GOING THERE FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS AND YOU LOST A VALUABLE CUSTOMER

I received the worst customer service at the North Fort Myers, FL location. Store manager was rude and I am a frequent customer. I've been an Inside track customer for years and have their credit card. I'll not be renewing my membership and cancelling my card.

On several occasions, I have asked the assistance of his worker named LEON in Harbor Freight Tools (located in Tarrytown Road, NY branch) and despite seeing him very busy, he took the time to help and give me advice on some of their goods and if not available in their store, he was not selfish to provide me some suppliers/stores where I could obtain the item. As an elderly he was so patient and perhaps he think that I needed more help than the other customers. He knows how to deal with his customers well and I wish other staff will follow his example. I hope the management could recognize his worth.

I was at the Store on Brainerd Road in Chattanooga and could not get any help with my purchase. So I went to Home Depot got plenty of help and made my purchase. Cost was about $50.00 more but a much better quality product. Very poor customer service at this store. And apparently every time you call and ask for a manager you get another person who says they are the manager. But they can never produce a store general manager.

I like them but recently they wouldn’t honor a coupon that members got for 45%off. Said it was an error. Should have been 15% off. I think they should have honored since it was their mistake.

It is interesting that some people use a product and then try to claim it doesn't work. Harbor Freight doesn't rent tools. I have had great luck with all the tools i have purchased. Too many entitled Karens/Kens running around with nothing better to do.

I bought an electric chainsaw often just so I could I have to fight my gasoline one but did they sold me John come replace it three times and this one I'm afraid to use cuz the chains keep flying off the bar and I called the corporate headquarters they're not going to give me any my money back for it they didn't want to give me my money back the first time when it acted up there with the first one you know it was junk but they saw a lot of junk at harbor freight I don't know how they stay in business they're crooks and rip off so don't buy any electrical products that has a chain on it cuz you won't be able to keep the chain on it don't buy a chainsaw off of them

In July I bought a gasoline water pump for $899 and accessories for for the pump for $200. I started and ran the pomp for a few minutes the following day. A few days later I tried to start the pump and it froze up. Contacted the store and they gave me an email address to contact. I received no response after a week and sent another email. Sent another email and no reply. I’m done and out $1200.

I purchased the 1500 lb motorcycle jack. Granted Ive owned it now for a few years, but only used it three times. When I attempted to use it this morning I realized It was bent. My bike weighs only about 800 lbs. I attempted to upload photos but this site said I needed to contact support.

Went to use my HB credit card to buy a new jack and with no warning they closed the account!!! I'll never do business with them again, bunch of idiots running the show!!!

Short nuts and bolts. Wanted me to return after 3/4 complete. Spent additional 24 dollars on workbench. No not buy will cause problems.

I purchased a Digital Photo Sensor Tach SKU 66632. The photo sensor would read a stationary object as having a speed of over 760 rpm with no way to calibrate it. I returned to the store where it was purchased for an exchange. Before I completed the exchange I wanted to try the new unit in the store to save myself another return trip. All three units on the shelf were also defective as witnesses by the cashier and manager. I was then informed that there would be a 20% restocking fee if I wanted to return the defective item or I could exchange it for one of the other proven defective items. Seriously are these people insane? Sell me trash and then penalize me. Are they going to restock the defective item and sell it to another unsuspecting customer? If not why the restocking fee. I was willing to exchange it for a functional unit but they could not provide one. Then I am penalized for their failure and poor products. In my opinion they probably make more profit from restocking fees than actual sales. They have lost my business forever and I will relay my experience everyone I possibly can.

I ordered a cart for my lawn mower and when it got to me the packaging was all beat up and parts were falling out. When I fully opened it, the panels did the cart were all dented. I called in made a complaint. They switched it out but when they delivered the new one, it was the same. Parts of the cart was falling out of the box. I called to complain and the agent made Ms feel like I was scamming them. I’m so upset.

Quality tools hands down. Restocking fees are normal with many brands, if it's unopened the fee is waived, same for if you are returning to purchase an upgraded item, or exchanging it for another of the same.

I bought a Cobra Surveillance systems and it said I could buy two more Cameras! I was told to call customer service and was told they didn’t have any because they stopped selling them! I will not shop there anymore!
