Hardware and Handles was launched by F R Scott Ltd, to expand the ironmongery side of its business online.

Formed in 1945, F R Scott Limited is the largest independent ironmongers in the Hull area. Operating from a 30,000 square feet warehouse in Hull City Centre, we supply architectural and builders' ironmongery, fasteners and tools to industry, builders, engineers and the public throughout East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.

“Easy to order, lots of choice and quick to arrive. The only issue I had (brass letters for the front door) is that the fixings vary in place depending on the letter, so it does require careful fitting. But I would definitely order again if the need arised.”

“I ordered a sample of the satin brass handle to make sure the colour is matching. It was beautiful. Then I ordered 27 more and they were of lighter gold colour, more yellow and looked they had a plastic shine layer coating. I will attach the picture of the difference. The leftover one handle and the sample handle were put on my new bathroom cabinet, but the difference is so visible that I had to order more to match to replace the sample. I am not so happy with the yellow colour but could not find much better ones.”

“Order wasn't delivered due to my error with delivery address. Replacement order sent with correct address. All this amid postal strikes but I always felt that Hardware & Handles focus was to get me my order. Highly recommended!”
