“Since they are experienced scammers, I placed a large investment with them mainly in the hopes of receiving excellent returns on my bitcoin holdings. “The SIPP I started 6 years ago has not had even a single day when when it was worth as much as at the start. Currently 9.5% down (over £30k). I am paying over £109 a WEEK in charges. The return I get in dividends each month is less than it was at the start, even without allowing for inflation. The staff are very helpful, the website is comprehensive and easy to use, but the abysmal performance that I am forced to pay extortionate charges for is utterly dreadful.”

“I have invested my SIPP with Hargreaves Lansdowne for many years. I am now trying to access the money having recently retired. Due to a minor error in the paperwork provided by my occupational pension scheme (NHS), HL are refusing to release my money and place the SIPP into drawdown. The NHS are predictably refusing to correct their mistake. HL will not help me at all. In effect I have ceased to own my retirement savings because I cant access my money. I foolishly entrusted this firm with my money and it has been a total disaster. I strongly urge readers to avoid my mistake.”
