Great service.. Sales team :) The guys that did lay our carpet did a great job and so Helpful.. If you need new carpet give them a call... You would be hard to find better Thanks TEAM Kevin Lyn & Kizmet :)

Very disappointed. Harrisons warranties aren’t worth the paper they’re written on. We’ve never had a nylon carpet before, but as it is recommended for people with asthma, we opted for Tramonti 430, a solution dyed nylon carpet classified as ACCS6* REHDS 1* CLDS, 15-year fade and stain warranty & lifetime anti-static & installation warranty with 11mm invincible foam underlay for our upstairs bedrooms and hall. In the master bedroom the carpet is behind the tiles in front of the ranch slider, so it doesn’t go right up to the door. Harrisons recommend\ a window film to reduce fading. We were thinking of replacing the slider, so didn’t bother and were okay with colour fading, after all it’s a bedroom and not a high traffic area. So, imagine our disappointment when, in less than 10 years the carpet has started to disintegrate, I can actually see through the carpet to the pink underlay in multiple places. But the colour of the carpet has not discoloured as much at all. Pity it’s falling apart. The guy that came from Godfrey Hirst, was arrogant with his many years of experience in the industry….. Told us it was sun fade, well yes, we can tell that, but what about the warranty, well that’s not with us, the carpet only has a life span of 5 years, and we are doing well with how long it has lasted. How can you have a 15-year fade warranty on a carpet with a lifespan of 5 years? And apparently the window film isn’t a recommendation, it’s a requirement. In the letter from Godfrey Hirst, they say they have had no other issues with this “batch” and do not consider it faulty. Funny how they only use the work batch not product. Hi, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you did not have a good interaction with Godfrey Hirst and that you are having issues with sun damage to your carpet. The New Zealand sun is very harsh on our furniture, window treatments and flooring. Nylon does perform better than wool, in these high sun areas, but nothing will be invincible unfortunately. We are so happy with the service provided by Neil and Kirsty at Harrisons Bay of Plenty. We were deciding between them and a competitor to do hard flooring and carpet in our home and ultimately chose Harrisons due to the products they offered. From start to finish they made the process very easy. Everything was on time and exactly as promised. We are over the moon with the result! The contractors they used to lay the flooring (in our case, laminate and carpet) were on time, professional, and very efficient. We had one small issue with baseboard undercutting which they rectified within 24 hours and we are very happy with the solution. There was no pushback and they were eager to help. Overall, I couldn't rate Harrison's Bay of Plenty any higher, fantastic. Thanks so much, Neil and Kirsty!

Harrisons went out of their way to ensure that my renovation went smoothly. They had to communicate with me, the tennants and the builder. It was a huge process made much easier by Wendy and Dave being so flexible with dates and times and communicative. Many many thanks. I am so happy with my new carpet.

Harrison's have just completed replacing the lino and carpet in my house. From start to finish this has been an excellent experience. Neil and Kirsty were very professional and helpful with assisting us in choosing the products, their pricing was very good and the delivery time of the service was very good. We are absolutely thrilled with the outcome, the people laying both the Lino and carpet were very professional, skilled and experienced. Cannot recommend this team highly enough.

The flooring has been a disaster. I have been given the brush off and am stuck with not only the initial costs but also the cost to have the flooring removed and disposed of. Harrisons have NOT lived up to their 100% satisfaction guarantee at all. Totally disappointed and would definitely NOT recommend to anyone.

I am aware that the suppliers have been out to your home to assess the issues that you were concerned about. We just had our double garage carpet installed and the 1st thing I said was WOW! The garage looks way better and we are stoked! No more cold feet doing our laundry, no more stress about our little kids slipping on wet concrete and they now have a massive playroom to play with their toys and ride their scooters bikes etc. So with that said… I just want to give a big shout out to Amanda from Harrison’s Canterbury Country. Her quick responses and willingness to come see us the next day for a free measure and to discuss options was key in choosing Harrison’s between two other competitors. Lastly just another big shout out to Aaron who was our installer. He arrived on time, was friendly, easy to talk to and the main thing he did a flawless installation. Took just under 3 hours start to finish and he even helped us move our storage cabinets back inside after. Thank you! Regards, Ryan and Emma

We got new carpet installed and the first night it was very cold and felt wet and damp to walk on with Sox. We have had a dehumidifier going in every room and are getting 2 cup fulls of water throughout the house plus opening all doors and windows every day and also a fire going . It reaks of musky wet smell. Our old carpet was down for 50 years and didn't smell like this. We are burning fragrance oils to disguise the smell but you can still smell the stench when they go out. Very disappointed with the product

Had a few issues with my carpet Harrison’s replaced the entire house lot no charge. They have been amazing! Admin lady’s thank you also you have been great! Highly recommend!! 😁😁😁

I love this company and particularly Shirley and Rob who looked after my carpet needs more than once. Great communication with both staff and the installers, who arrived on time, make organising carpet a simple task. The 2 installers removed the old carpet, laid both the underlay and carpet incredibly efficiently then cleaned up after before leaving. 🤗 I highly recommend Harrison’s of North Shore. 100%!
