A good final product (solar installation), but let down by poor communication and project management which caused significant delays and frustration - both for the customer and the sub-contractors

Happy with solar,only installed late January but looking good so far. Room for improvement as far as after installation customer service was concerned, we got there in the end.

I got a quote from Harrisons Solar as I liked the promo they have atm. 10 panels fully installed FROM $9995. I got a quote for 8 panels for nearly 11k. When I asked about the promo the rep said he does not know of anyone who would qualify for the 10 panels $9995 so IMO its false advertising. I have since got solar panels from a local company and am very happy. Harrisons won't get my business again anytime soon!

The only place you can get LG panels, so if you want LG, you've got to use Harrisons. We got there in the end, but there were a number of serious mishaps during installation. Read your proposal carefully - ours had a different (inferior) inverter in the fine print, and the peak power figure was not actually possible to reach with the inverter we got.

A good installation but 2 months later I still don’t have the necessary meter installed and so I’m not getting paybacks for power to the grid. I’ve missed taking advantage of great long summer days of home power generation payments.

There were many added expenses which we had to pay for. The size of the Fronius, about the size of a vacuum cleaner, was a nasty surprise and it ended up having to be installed inside, another surprise and not easy to find a place for, and it makes a noise. Hmmmm. It would have been good to know because these were unwelcome surprises.

Great if you just want a boiler plate offering straight out of a catalogue, but you don't get to talk to the tech guys/installers until install day. As our install occurred in autumn, we've only now discovered that our panels are not oriented for optimal harnessing of the sun. By 3 pm our generation is diminished dramatically

We believe the products will be of a good standard as we have had solar installed by Harrison's in a different area and are pleased with the installation of our current solar panels. However the service and communication from the Harrison's representatives has been very poor and we would not be keen to deal with them again.

Happy with the product, install and offers. Not happy that I spent a large sum of money with Harrison's and they never followed up with a call to check the system is working correctly and the owner knows how everything operates.

I do think there should be a follow up post installation to confirm that the system is functioning as it should. We have been waiting for over a month to receive a copy of the Manuals and still have not seen them. It took three years from the date of our original inquiry until our system was installed. In summary Customer Service was inadequate.

Ask specific questions or you won’t get specific answers, ambiguous answers also need to be scrutinised or you will enter into a situation that is less than ideal both cost wise and performance wise
