“At first, I couldn't find what I wanted but when I asked one of the retail staff, they helped me. The young assistants all seemed to be happy to be working which shows me that this must be a good place to buy things. If you go into the shop on a Saturday or in the holidays, you can hardly get in, it's full of children all having a super time”

“Have been shopping at Hawkins for about 36 years and have always been happy with my purchases .Only regret is there is no longer the very funny catalogue to brighten up shopping! Not only very good for stocking fillers, advent calenders, party bage, but also for me as a teacher looking for unusual little things.”
