“Bought a mattress for the baby we are expecting. Paid extra to make sure it got delivered on Saturday as we knew we wouldn't be in. It came early and got left with a neighbour which was frustrating as I hadn't received any dispatch information either. Wrote to see if I could get refunded for the delivery charge as it didn't come on the day I specified. I would of had free delivery and not needed to pay on the friday. My messaged got ignored and I never got a refund or answer. Very annoyed at the customer service.”

“We bought a RC car from Hawkins for £75. Within 2 minutes a component broke off near the wheel. I contacted Hawkins for a spare part to fix. They dont stock parts and referred me to a link which turned out to be a guy in China pretending to be in the UK. I ordered the parts online for £16 and they never arrived. So the car is useless to us, what a waste of money, it could have been so much fun. Dont buy a car from Hawkins unless they stock spares for it!”
