“I usually purchase Hemp Protein from Mt Elephant, but they’re no longer selling their 5kg bags so purchased from you. You cannot even compare it to yours. Your p duct was powdery and I honestly am thinking it is full of fillers or similar as it was in powder form and looked nothing like hemp protein. It was pale and caused me to have diarrhoea. I am so disappointed and mentioned it to Mt Elephant who asked for serial numbers. (Which I haven’t sent them, yet). I’m sure you would know or have a record of what you sent me :(”

Please note that our Hemp Gold® Protein powder is created from hulled-hemp seeds, by cold pressing them to remove the oil (like an olive oil press). What’s left over is hemp gold protein! a satisfying creamy, smooth powder that is softer in taste and texture (not gritty) than traditional Hemp Protein. The only ingredient is organic Hemp.

“So far 3 weeks late poor communication I'm unable to rate the quality of the actual product as I simply haven't received yet although it has been reshipped however it took a few emails on my behalf to get any response so I really hope the product is much better than the customer service.”

Hi Marcus, I'm sorry for the long delay to your order. The lead up to Christmas can delay deliveries through the courier network, but it's given us the chance to make some changes to the couriers we'll use in future.

“Placed order 4 weeks ago, order was dispatched but I didn’t receive it. I have tired to raise dispute on the website which was closed with no response. Unable to contact on listed phone number. Terrible service.”

“Upon completing the transaction turns out that the item was on backorder yet nothing during purchased made mention of the fact. I have no idea of an eta and have tried to reach out twice to Hemp Foods of which have both times not responded to me across a span of two weeks. This is the worst purchase I have made and should I not hear back from Hemp soon I will have no option but to reverse the charge through the credit card provider. Purchase from them at your own risk!”

“Hemp seed oil, hemp protein and hulled hemp seeds advertised as Australian product but all packed in Australia from imported products. On the website stated I will get a gift - a jar of peanut / hemp butter, which was never delivered.”

Hey Anna, I think one of the team reached out to you and explained- we do sell conventional hemp seeds grown in Australia but these are not organic. Our organic products are packed in Australia and are Australian Certified Organic. We also confirmed that the Hemp Butter gift is for orders over $90, so unfortunately you didn't qualify this time. If you would like Australian grown seed, we do offer conventionally grown hemp seeds which are sourced from Tasmania, just search Australian Grown Hemp Seeds on the website. We work with Organically Certified growers around the world to source ACO organic hemp seed because there’s just not enough being grown in Australia at this time. Kind regards, The Hemp Foods Team.

“PUTRID. It takes like liquid peas mixed with grass. I used it for a protein shake and added hot chocolate powder hoping it would improve the flavour to no avail. I don't understand why it has such high reviews. I wish I could get a refund. waste of money.”
