“Appointment in person with Mr Gordon Bruce 18-4-2019 I wanted to improve on the NHS aids I had been using for about a year, Gordon tested for the threshold hearing level, and repeated with background noise, much as NHS. Tests for the intelligibility of sets of single-syllable words followed, with (to me) quite startling results - which however confirmed my own observations of my hearing difficulties. We had some discussion of what had been demonstrated, some tests were repeated . Lasted about 90 minutes in all and I found it interesting. The complexities of the financial set-up weren't made too clear though, and once home initially I thought the email follow-up from ‘Secure Bank’ was a phishing expedition! Appointment otherwise was courteous and professionally executed,”
