“I bought 2 x 7" tablets from them when I opened the box one was already set up and had a sin card in it, so I returned it as it is not new.
The store policy is that they do not do refunds on debit cards so the would have to give me cash to the value of R1599 but cannot tell me when and I should check in with them later.
I must drive 6km to check if they got cash and if not I must come back again.
The other thing is they are also not allowed to keep cash in the register so if I don't come at the exact time the money comes in they will put it in the drop safe.
So I did not get my money and they cannot care less because all they can tell me is that is the policy and than ignore me,.
I am not prepared to keep driving to hifi corp in the hope that my money is there. they not even prepared to call and say we have cash you can come.”

We bought a kettle at Hifi Corp Atterbury 6 months ago. Today, it just stopped working. We try to return it, just to be told that they dont return or refund it. It needs to be send to the supplier and then we can collect it again in 21 Days. Your policy SERIOUSLY needs to be revised as a matter of urgency - how can jou expect someone to be 3 weeks without a neccesity like a kettle and expect of the client to drive up and down where as its YOUR suppliers providing poor quality products? “People, do not go to Klerksdorp Hi-fi Co-operation! I made a application a week ago to buy a TV and a car radio. They said it will take +/- 8 hours to receive feedback. Every day I phoned the branch to hear about my application. There were always excuses like my id photo is not clear or - believe it or not - I did not give much address for them and I must send a proof of address to them!!! A did what they asked me. A week later I am stiiiiiiiiil waiting for feed back. Today when I phoned them to hear what is going on, the next day excuse is that they're Head Office said I much go back to the branch and make sure a new application because there are to many queries about my application. According to the people who work there they do not know who handled my application and there are no records of who did work with it!!! Just imagine, I made a full application, signed all the documents and was told I will receive feedback within 8 hours but I - according to them, failed to show and give proof of my address and my ID!!!!! This is absolutely crazy!!!!!! I reported a complaint and was told a manager would contact me from Head Office within 24 hours to help me with my problem. Three days later I am stiiiiiiiiil waiting for a call!!! “I have been one of your online customers for a very long time now and it is my second time I get disappointed with your poor service. At first I was disappointed when I purchased a refrigerator for my son which took a month to be delivered and now for the second refrigerator that was purchased on the 20/5/2020 I get the same treatment.
I have been on the phone since the 22/05/2020 trying to check if the transfer was successful and cleared on your side. A lady by the name Chuma assisted to check and informed me that the payment is cleared and even invoices have been prepared. She indicted that the delivery will not take more that 6 working days.
I started calling your offices again after the 25th May 2020 but in vain as there's absolutely no response from your call centre 0860 459 459 instead the call is ended every time after ringing for 10 minutes.
It is so painful to deal with a company that is not transparent with its customers failing to redress or communicate with customers instead when you send a message / chat an SMS is sent apologizing for delay. We have paid R12 499.90 on the 20/5/2020 and the only thing we have seen is the screen shown below and today is the 03/06/2020.
